I think Michigan wins this game no matter what just because Minnesota has zero offense, and the defense will have an absolute field day, but it could still be a somewhat sloppy game for both offenses. It's on the road and the team, even though they had a bye, will still be coming off a horrid emotional loss. If they don't come out focused, it could be closer than it should be.

I hope this team comes out for blood, though. Mostly just so they can just get back on track after the MSU loss, but also after the way that Minnesota manhandled this team on its own turf last year, I hope Michigan steps down on Minnesota's throat and has them waiving a white flag by halftime. If Michigan comes out playing like they did against Northwestern, BYU, and MSU, this could get really ugly really fast for Minnesota.

We will win this game, but I'd like to see Rudock with 30 attempts. We need for him to build confidence. Can we beat IU let alone OSU without throwing 40 times? Maybe?

them credit for.  you can look at the final scores they had with ohio and msu but for substantial parts of both games, including on the road against state, they stuck with two of the best teams in the country.  IU could be a complete 'trap' game.   JH won't let the team look past them, but they are due for a big win, they definitely have some weapons even if their D isn't so great.

M is a bad matchup for IU. We like to run the ball and control the clock. We have very good corners. That is not a good recipe for IU to win. I am sure Nate would hit some throws, but will not be enough. Once their defense is on the field for so long, they will be beat down and we will be running the ball down their throat. We are not MSU secondary and Nate is not Cook.

IU has the same conditioning/adjustment problems as Hoke's squads.  They can't sustain for four quarters.  Opponents have outscored Indiana 114-44 in the fourth quarter so far this season, and the only reason it's that "close" is because they played FIU.

IU is an excellent matchup for Jim "4-hour practices" Harbaugh.

IU is definitely a harder game than Minnesota.

I trust our defense much more to take advantage of a terrible offense (Minnesota) than our offense to take advantage of a terrible defense (Indiana).

This should be obvious.

The next two games are the easiest remaining. The last three weeks are where we'll see the difference between an 8 win team and a 10 win team.

I disagree but upvoting because WTF guys, is this Reddit?  What's wrong with thinking one game will be tougher than another?

Anyway, Northwestern is what Minnesota wants to be, they destroyed the Gophers, and we destroyed Northwestern.  Transitive works here because Durkin's defense is designed to shut down spread-to-run.  We stoned a team that's better at what Minny wants to do.  So, Minnesota isn't moving the ball.

On offense, 17 is the best any defense has held Michigan to all season, so even with an obligatory TD we're looking at 17-7 as the worst-case scenario.  It's a road game (so was the 17), so that's probably a healthy expectation.  Doesn't cover, but I'll take it.

IU lacks stamina (that game may be decided in the 4th quarter).  Rutgers is the "scariest" in that I don't know what to expect.  They're terrible on paper but hung with Sparty and outscored IU.  Michigan should win in a logical universe, but I'm getting used to the illogical this season.

Some people seem to misunderstand the purpose of voting on posts.  Downvotes should be for posts that are offensive, spamming and so forth.  A comment that is reasonable but which you happen to disagree with with shouldn't be downvoted.  (People also go a little nuts with the upvotes, too, but that's more harmless.)

I will second TopBet. Great bonus and quick payouts - after your 1st payout anyway. The first time you have to send in a copy of your ID and credit card used for the deposit and it takes a couple of weeks. After that DHL will bring you a check within a few days.

Just a heads up, Chase closed my account after I deposited a check with them. That's been a couple of years ago and I haven't had any trouble with my new financial institution.  Also, they must have a lot of UM wagers because if the line is -13.5 everywhere, it will probably be -15 at Top Bet. At least it seems that way.

The thing that I've noticed is that, in former seasons, our line would almost never be covered. They always seemed high. Now, all of these lines seem very conservative, even at -13.5. HARBAUGH DAMMIT!
