Random note: these are the best Ohio State hockey jerseys I've ever seen. Theirs are usually hideous

I don't know how to feel. "Losing" to OSU at home is bad. This team is bad and will probably not make the tournament. Red will retire. Whatever

Hot start by winning a jillion 2-1 games but then December hit and we're 6-8-3 since then I believe.

Michigan drops to 16th in the RPI. Now we can't lose in the next 3 games.
Edit: Colgate lost, Michigan moves up to 15th.

Sorry to sound repetitive, but y'all are right. The program needs a serious change, or a swift kick in the ass (or perhaps both).

Michigan did not lose anything tonight except an extra point in the shootout.
Guess what? Shootouts don't count in the record books. Tonight was a tie.
There is still hockey left to be played. It felt like the energy level was really low tonight and they were fortunate to get at least one point.
Even if they won it in OT, this is still Red's last year.

The team is only making it harder on themselves. We needed a win to get away from the 14/15/16 spots in the RPI and didn't get it done. Every win they throw away makes our at-large chances smaller.

Yup, like I explained to someone up there, you're really not safe till you're in the top 10. If we're at 15 we're almost certainly out and even 12-13 is a tenuous area

Idle thought: Are our swimmers any good on frozen water?
will that late 3rd-period hit by the Buckeye player on Kile be reviewed by the league office? Will it be in time for any possible suspension to be decided by the next game?
I looked at that again (game replay just got over with on BTN) and I still think he targeted Kile's head, should have been a 5-minute major but somehow the officials didn't happen to see it that way.
Typically not till after the weekend series are done. We'll probably hear about it on Monday or Tuesday I would guess. Even though our 2nd game isn't till Sunday, I'd be surprised if he was suspended before then
