I don't think it's exaggerating to say that this is a must sweep weekend unless we'd like to leave our tournament hopes up to a) sweeping Minnesota or b) winning the B1G tournament

The good news is that we generally beat OSU unless something is seriously awry (we swept #2 OSU in Columbus a few years ago when we were struggling)

The bad news is that we're 2-2 against Penn State over the last few weeks and that may be enough to say things are awry

This game has been so sloppy so far. No one can pass or control the puck.

Fortunately we've had more chances and should have ample opportunities to take this back

Michigan going on the PP

Need to get a hold of this game. This feels like that 1st Penn State loss where we didn't feel out of it early but dumb stuff was happening. Don't want to tempt fate by going down 2-0

Hideous passing for most of it, a ton of bouncing pucks. Not sure if that's on us or the ice. Otherwise we seemed to generally have the higher quantity of chances, though very few were quality

and it feels like nothing has happened. A lot of OSU making it hard for poor-passing Michigan to do anything and OSU not good enough to generate much of anything. Just joking around in the neutral zone the whole game
