It sucks but are we finally going to play Michigan basketball and not like minnesota.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:04 PM ^
That camera is 100% pure donkey balls.

Evan turner's speech is going on and on, even the natives are getting restless. Painful.

I mean, they have a logo for it and they're hyping it in the halftime coverage.
They really think this should be a thing.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:20 PM ^
I too love not being able to see what's going on for most of the game ESPN. We share this passion
February 16th, 2016 at 8:42 PM ^
Logo should be Toilet Seats Cam...Awful. It makes me appreciate CBB on the radio...TV off.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:12 PM ^
I'm with you....
My first thought was that the ESPN crew forgot to pack cameras 2-5 and the producer just said "fuck it, lets run this with one camera from a terrible angle and play it off like some fancy promo"
February 16th, 2016 at 8:39 PM ^
Quite a few of their replays are from standard angles.
Someone's not getting their annual jelly of the month subscription...
February 16th, 2016 at 7:58 PM ^
ESPN should try this camera angle for Football Games. This was an excellent idea by the World Wide Leader in Sports. I can only take so much of Refs butt.
February 16th, 2016 at 7:58 PM ^
Fast play my ass...
February 16th, 2016 at 8:00 PM ^
My father in law just called and was on hold for 20 minutes. I assume he had to wait for all the other mgobloggers to finish bitching.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:32 PM ^
Are you sure that's the right number? I called it and they were just trying to scam me into buying "rebate vouchers."
February 16th, 2016 at 8:48 PM ^
Sorry. I got that from a Twitter thread with Ace but apparently it might be actually 888-549 -3776 (I think )

That's the right one. I called, they said, "We're getting a lot of calls about it." And when I said I hope to never see this angle again, the guy laughed and said he'd be surprised if it ever got used again.

This feel like someone periscoping a rec league game.

February 16th, 2016 at 8:00 PM ^
how this camera angle makes me feel...
FUCK SHIT BALLS TITS ASS
February 16th, 2016 at 11:05 PM ^
Some of those are good things...
February 16th, 2016 at 8:03 PM ^
I kind of like not seeing who's taking the shot or how the play developed.

Suppose I'd rather be complaining here than on the main board post for the game which is a series of complaints about Beilein and the team.

more up votes. I just logged on to complain about the suckass camera angle. And it's the same for the whole fucking game. Did all the other cameras malfunction? WTF? Never seen anything like it. ESPN totally sucks balls.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:05 PM ^
I'd bet $100B that the Duke and UNC game tomorrow won't have this camera angle.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:07 PM ^
Enough with the Ted Valentine's ass cam

February 16th, 2016 at 8:08 PM ^
All I have to say on the matter is FUCK ESPN!
February 16th, 2016 at 8:09 PM ^

February 17th, 2016 at 12:12 AM ^
I was in a meeting and DVRd it, I ended up watching most of it on fast forward to just get it over with. Completely unwatchable. Thought that early on too when Michigan was playing better.

...that they are burning the best replay angle they have. Hand Held Center is the look for most replays, and they're useless because the camera guy has to shoot too wide. This is one of the worst things ESPN has ever done. The person who came up with this plan should be shot.

ESPN owns SEC Network. Harbaugh, and BigTen, are making SEC look bad so as punishment we must watch bad camera angles.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:14 PM ^
Thanks ESPN
February 16th, 2016 at 8:14 PM ^
I'm a little relieved to see that this is universal -- I was afraid ESPN had developed an evil master plan to use this camera angle for SlingTV until we all became so seasick that we'd renounce our cord-cutting ways.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:17 PM ^
There is no way ESPN thought this would be a good idea. Something must be wrong with the normal cameras and they are just trying to cover it up.
February 16th, 2016 at 8:17 PM ^
This is becoming too frequent. Dead lifeless performances. This is a bad OSU team....
February 16th, 2016 at 8:22 PM ^
I really can't believe ESPN thought it would be wise to test this out in a fairly big game on ESPN. This is something you try for a Gonzaga-St Marys game on ESPNU
February 16th, 2016 at 8:46 PM ^
Eastern Michigan - Akon, so they could easily get the thoughts of all 5 people that would be tuning in.
February 17th, 2016 at 12:09 AM ^
Yeah, you don't try his our for a whole game that is a rivalry game that people actually want to watch.
