rundown of Michigan's riser
Michigan-N'western's on BTN Now
It's over, I'm calling it. We're up 14-7, with our defense there's no way NW gets even.
DO NOT TELL ME WHO WINS. THIS IS THE DVR ERA, DAMMIT.
Sweet, I had 'The Longest Day" on in the background editing a document, but all those explosions were too distracting. This is a little less disruptive.

Candace: No... That why they make smart word box for tell monkey hard brain-hurty things.
Phineas: Removing prepositions makes it more condescending.
Nice and calm back there. Sure doesn't look like a guy only getting his second start. He can be a touch late on some balls, but that will only improve with more reps.
With all due respect, sir, I believe this is gonna be our finest hour.
They just showed Fitzgerald jumping around after the PF on Beyer. What a total dick move.
....and there's the Gardner pick. Yea it was a lazy toss, but young Mr Funchess has to go get that ball too, IMO. That's a feel thing he'll develop with experience.
"the Spirit of Michigan...is based on a deathless loyalty to Michigan and all her ways....and a conviction that nowhere is there a better university, in any way, than this Michigan of ours" - Fielding Yost
Game over.
With all due respect, sir, I believe this is gonna be our finest hour.
That was a great hit by James Ross. I thought he played very well yesterday. It's exciting to think about these young LB's
Team 134 will be very good with offense and defense being relatively young and schedule is a lot easier...
Love Kovacs pointing and telling the official what end they were going to play on. Good stuff Mr. Kovacs
Demens makes the play on third down too. WOW
With all due respect, sir, I believe this is gonna be our finest hour.
had himself a game yesterday. Roundtree as well. Additionally, I thought Devin showed some nice moments of leadership. He never quit, and played particularly well in OT.
If there's an exceptionalism to Michigan—the school and the sports—it's a focus on being exceptional over whether we appear to be so. MGOBLOG
Rewatching the game, Gardner threw at least 4 passes that were awfully risky. Hope he can eliminate those risky passes, he can't try to force things against Ohio...
Agreed but one key difference between the two is that Devin misses low generally and Denard misses high. Devin's low passes are much harder to pick and seem (to my watchful eye anyways) to arrive with much more velocity than Denard's.
Having just watched the game on TV after being there yest I must say I'm even more impressed with Gardner than I was yesterday. 2013 might just be ok afterall.
Denard tends to throw behind his WRs, when he throws bad. Gardner seems to me was just trying to thread the needle a few times too many.
I have now shifted my greatest source of fear for next year to be replacing most likely 4 starters off the oline. Devin played a solid game against a quality big10 opponent regardless of what the naysayers say...with an offseason of dedicAted qb snaps, I see no reason why he can't be a very good quarterback.
Yeah, remember how awesome that 2006 Florida defense was under Urban Meyer? Greg Mattison does.
I understand that Mattison was part of that squad but I don't really get what you're trying to say. What does that have to do with Ohio's D this year, or Gardner's throwing?
OSU's defense last year had problems and those problems have continued to this season. A lot of Meyer's national championship reputation comes from Tim Tebow and Greg Mattison. Meyer has an awesome QB now, but they're a mess on defense.
Also, Mattison is awesome.
Thanks for asking that. I didnt have a clue what he was trying to say but what with the mods all in an uproar tonight I figured discretion was the better part of valor.
You'd have to be a pretty outsized tool for me to even downvote you, much less hammer you for a response to one of my posts.

I can't believe I'm watching the whole thing again.
I LOVE MICHIGAN
