What a CRAZY tournament this has turned into.

That's some terse language for someone whose avatar is a squirrel, and that's coming from someone whose avatar is Rainbow Dash.

Take it in stride, man. Yeah, we have to get it together enough to beat TAMU, but for now, I think it's alright to embrace that we survived the chaos to date.

Even if A&M plays good again, I can't see any scenario where I wanted to play Carolina. They had the 7th best offense in the country along with a top 40 defense, which is a LETHAL combo. Basically, imagine our 2013 or 2014 teams with really good defense. They just had a terrible game at the wrong time.

A&M will make it a slog-fest, but hopefully we will remember how to shoot by next Thursday.

So if we had gotten Detroit, our path to the NC would be Duke, Kansas, Villinova.

Instead of T&M, FSU/Gonzaga, KState/KY/Loyola/Nevada,

Thanks Sparty!

At this point seeding doesn’t mean a damn thing. If anything it puts a bigger target on our back. They need to rest and regroup because another effort on Thursday like last night and A&M will beat us by 20+ too.

The effect of the first two rounds is that no one is intimidated by anyone.  The top seeds in the South have been wiped out.  People aren't expecting Michigan to win; they're expecting Michigan to be next.

I don't think that'll mean anything once the ball's tipped off, though.  Beilein doesn't underestimate anybody.

Lol at arguing who you'd rather play based on seeding when seeding clearly doesn't matter that much this year as evident from all of the upsets. Just win and advance.

Time to wake up and fucking play like you were prior to the tourney. Smh.

Either way...what an outstanding season. One for the books for me. I’ve seen so much heart ache from Michigan sports the last 10 years. I’ll ride this wave as long as I can.

That two week layoff hurt the momentum the team had, imho.

Let's hope they get it back and can start hitting shots. I really don't want to hear the crowd at Staples Center start chanting AIRBALL! AIRBALL! AIRBALL! as what was witnessed Saturday night.

Regardless, the team has persisted!

Texas A&M is a pretty good team. Whoever coaches A&M does a better job using the size and athleticism of the bigs they have than, say, Purdue. Teske needs to play well, and he will likely play often. It will be interesting to see who Livers matches up with.

The Tournament is all situational--the next game, the matchups, what appears to be working and what adjustments defensively a team can make. The bigger picture of what seeds are left doesn't mean that much to me when, as this year, the seeds are artificial constructs that do not reflect the relative quality of the competition. In '14, Michigan sure didn't seem like the lower seed against UK, which had an NBA starting five and bench guys who have played in the NBA.

Ohio State and Sparty early exits, along with Michigan's sluggishness, tell me that the competition level in the B1G is not going to be a good predictor or indicator of how Michigan will do against Sweet Sixteen or better talent, regardless of what the seeding is.

Me too. Gonzaga plays a physical brand of basketball like a traditional Wisconsin team, or Purdue. They are well coached and athletic. We can match up with them, but it will be a dog fight. I think Beilein can pick apart FSU.
