It might have happened earlier if the blind Denard lovers tried to have some objectivity and see that his passing deficiencies precluded any type if rhythm on offense vs above average defenses... The fan base backlash may have made hoke hesitant to make the switch. Or maybe not. Either way, it us clear Devin Gardner is a much smarter QB than Denard. He knows when to scramble and when he has a free play, unlike Denard.
