I think the shooting inconsistency has been the killer. I had to turn this game off though...I can't watch this team anymore. It is too painful. That second half was pathetic. We just gave up.

night if michigan isn't hitting jumpers... NW is saging in the key and forcing michigan to shoot from the outside... and on D no one is paying attetion to the back door cuts... someone has to step up and make it a little harder...

My understanding of these "stretches" by Manny grows thinner by the game.

P.S - I think Shurna has the highest looks the part / basketball skills differential in the Big Ten.

P.S.S - Here comes the stretch where the other team hits 8 straight threes..sigh..

Still an outside shot of making the tournament, probably need to go 18-12 with those 2 losses likely coming at OSU and MSU. If we drop this one that officially closes the door (and no, we are not winning the conference tourney).

This is an ugly run right now out of the 2nd half gate. The announcers made a good point that without a legit, experienced PG, this team just looks lost at times.

Since I'm at work and can't watch, has NU's ridiculous shooting percentage been a product of poor defense or just insanely hot shooting? I guess the 3pt percentage probably points to red-hot shooting, but what about inside the arc?

We need more playmakers. If Harris and Sims aren't playing well we have no one that can create. Hopefully Morris turns into that type of player, but no one else on the team is going to do it. I thought maybe LLP would take that role, but he's been quiet all year.

So frustrating to see our offense just stagnate.
