Magary's rants are a little old by now but I fully endorse this one.
So it's a personal thing then, I thought he might of been a bad guy or said crap about Michigan. I never minded him, the business side of sports is interesting to me.
Rovell is an empty suit, a charlatan and a poor excuse for a journalist. Saying it's "personal" does not work as an adequate dismissal of views. People smell a rat with him. A lot of people.
I would not even call that a rant. Magary breaks it down pretty well, and does so with clinical precision. Thanks for the link.
It was very interesting that Magary called Tiger Woods out for the "Tiger's dad" commercials which were a special type of nauseating. Like Lance Armstrong's branding tactics (i.e., trying to position things so that if you are against LA you sound like you're pro-cancer), those Tiger Woods commercials were deeply just awful. I'm sure they appealed to some - that's the point, after all - but how crass to pimp your dad's memory like that in an attempt to rebuild your brand.
There are only 10 Michigan chipmunks on the field. Where is the Brady Hoke chipmunk?

All I can say is that the one linebacker that we appear to be fielding (is that you, Greg Robinson?) better get in there and attempt to knock that pass down as we're not playing tight on receivers at all on this play.
Other than that, a unique take on the rivalry, to say the least. Definitely one I wouldn't think I would see.
