the thing we cannot speak about...Ever since then its been a different team. I believe psychologically its affected the whole team especially realizing how much was at stake (where would be ranked NOW if we were 9-1)..We had all the hype and momentum on our side and people were talking about CFP playoff and Michigan in it...and to come so CLOSE that has got to be weighing on them...Somehow we were able to escape Minn and Ind and I think NOW that hangover is over...Everything is in front of them and it all comes down to Penn St for us to have a shot...I think we come out focused, angry and will play one of our best games of the year....

Interesting theory, but why is the hangover over now? Why wasnt it over before Indiana? I cant find a reason, other than hope, that it would end now. In fact, they have learned that they can win with less than stellar D. Help us understnad why things will change now.

Id give it a week to get over maybe two but the magnitude of that game was HUGE and I just think it lingered..To me? its obvious after that game they were off...These are kids it takes longer to get over disappointment like that than a adult whose been thru it alot...just a feeling after watching decades of games and remembering previous games...Psychology is big in college sports ...well see but something tells me we are gong to get their A game from here on out...win or lose

I disagree.  The recent past has had Sparty destructions of M's entire team, and I believe those were soul-crushers that left hangovers.  But the way in which unspeakable was so flukey, I don't think it affected their belief in themselves.  The DL and LBs?  They crushed Sparty.  DB's?  Did pretty well.  OL protected pretty well.  Didn't have a great game, but they did "play winning football, didn't get the outcome" if I have that quote correct.  I think Harbaugh moved them right past it.

As a fan, does it bother you that much?  I don't often think about it.
