Welp, the B1G is going to belong to Minnesota for the immediate future.

...Florida State Football's 1st year in the ACC

Minnesota is always talented but never consistent. They'll go back to missing the tournament again in a season or two. Michigan is the model of consistancy in this league

Interference
February 14th, 2014 at 10:28 PM ^
Not sure if it's the olympic rink or just matching Minnesota's style of play (or both) but we look...good(?) tonight

February 14th, 2014 at 10:30 PM ^
That was textbook interference deep in the slot. Easy call.
February 14th, 2014 at 10:29 PM ^
Yes, 4-2.
February 14th, 2014 at 10:29 PM ^
Compher, PPG! 4-2 them.
February 14th, 2014 at 10:29 PM ^
Another PPG. 4-2
Go figure it's Copp and Compher doing most of the offense again
February 14th, 2014 at 10:30 PM ^
Compher scores, it's 4-2. We have life.
February 14th, 2014 at 10:31 PM ^
I'd hate to be on the PK unit on this size ice. Lotta room out there; looks like 4-3 on normal ice.
February 14th, 2014 at 10:35 PM ^
Offense had life and we played Minnesota pretty evenly
February 14th, 2014 at 10:35 PM ^
Our defense is so slow (outside Bennett, obviously). Exacerbated on the big ice.
February 14th, 2014 at 10:38 PM ^
They're outshooting us 30-23, faceoffs 22-19 for them. They're 1/7 on the PP, we're 2/3.
/blink
/blink
We're actually 2/3 on the PP?!?! Wow!
February 14th, 2014 at 10:39 PM ^
After that first period, I take it as a big win that the stats look that friendly right now
February 14th, 2014 at 10:49 PM ^
If we can get the next goal, this is a game as they say
February 14th, 2014 at 10:49 PM ^
Compher nearly put that one in
February 14th, 2014 at 10:51 PM ^
Our offense is buzzing now (I haven't ....>GOOOOAAALLLLL!!!!
February 14th, 2014 at 10:51 PM ^
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!! 3-4
February 14th, 2014 at 10:51 PM ^
Hyman, 4-3 them
February 14th, 2014 at 10:51 PM ^
Nasty move by Zach. Naaaasssty
February 14th, 2014 at 10:52 PM ^
Hyman scores 4-3.
February 14th, 2014 at 10:53 PM ^
We've got Minnesota on their heels. Offense is still buzzing
February 14th, 2014 at 10:54 PM ^
LOL. "Persistent little bugger."
February 14th, 2014 at 10:58 PM ^
This has been one of the best games I've seen us play all year. The defense is always going to be suspect but the offense has looked great and the team is at least clearing out pucks from in front of the net well
This team is playing like a desparate tournament team tonight: they might not be a 1-seed, but they're playing like they intend to beat one
February 14th, 2014 at 10:59 PM ^
Wow, nice faceoff there!
February 14th, 2014 at 11:01 PM ^
Save, Racine!
February 14th, 2014 at 11:01 PM ^
Believe it or not, that was Minnesota's first shot that period. More than 8 minutes in. This is a whole different game now
February 14th, 2014 at 11:02 PM ^
and let's get one.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:07 PM ^
and people complain about how english makes no sense...
February 14th, 2014 at 11:08 PM ^
Some shaky D on both sides right now.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:10 PM ^
MN blueline has a scoring drought? Boo fucking hoo.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:12 PM ^
Shit, they score, 5-3 them.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:12 PM ^
just couldn't kick it six more inches to clear. F
February 14th, 2014 at 11:13 PM ^
Couldn't clear the puck there. Motte lost a stick so it was almost a powerplay. That reminded me of the UMD game again
February 14th, 2014 at 11:13 PM ^
Dive on the puck and scoop it out with your hand! No, don't. 3-5
February 14th, 2014 at 11:14 PM ^
Excellent effort tonight. Most enjoyable (likely) loss I've seen this team take in years
February 14th, 2014 at 11:15 PM ^
Why am I not surprised a Michigan defensemen blew a coverage in front of our net and it was Kevin Clare.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:15 PM ^
UMD flashbacks. woo.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:17 PM ^
Those goals are like slowly driving in a knife. Once you get past the "oh crap we can't clear it" point it just feels like every extra second you can't clear it is inching closer to a goal
February 14th, 2014 at 11:15 PM ^
Proud of the effort. If we can play 3 full periods like the last 1.5, I like our chances.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:18 PM ^
Nice dive by Rau.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:19 PM ^
Horse shit.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:20 PM ^
Does Downing have to sit tomorrow?
February 14th, 2014 at 11:22 PM ^
...there's a scrap at the end of this one.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:24 PM ^
There's 10 sec. left.
February 14th, 2014 at 11:26 PM ^
We need to start the next game much better. Can't spot them a 2-goal lead.

Racine was the only reason this game was even close after the first 30 minutes.
