Let's Go Blue!  No more games like the last one, plz.

Saw this quote from Mac Bennett:

There is life after hockey. Whether that's tomorrow or 10 to 15 years from now, I'm not sure. I wanted to make sure I was prepared for that.

We might not play as many games as junior does but we're practicing probably twice as much, which I think is huge, especially for a guy like me, an undersized (6', 190 lbs) defenseman who needed a little bit of time to develop.

I've seen my game improve by leaps and bounds since I've been here just in terms of playing defense in my own zone and creating offense up front. I have no regrets about coming to Michigian. I love this place.

Rhode Island native Mac Bennett is nearly ready for the next step in his hockey career and will have a musicology degree as well.

which I find disappointing for a few reasons. I wanted PSU to win to make me feel a little better about our loss and it's still fun to see MSU flounder with their modern version of Gerry Faust

Red & Michigan Hockey also got some love on NBC today during the Austria-Canada game. They mentioned Lebler and how he had the Red Berenson Scholarship or something at Michigan. Always good to get a little program recognition during the biggest event in hockey

Watching the offenses in this game is like the softest of pillow fights

Both teams have good goaltending, fine defense, and just boring slow offenses. I'm not sure how either team got to 2 goals

This dude is really breaking down why people stand up at a game! Wow,... Sometimes they stand up when there's a goal, sometimes they stand up when they get excited, and now they are standing for this shoutout , got to love hockey fans. That's some real insight pal.

Why is it that some schools can have the larger sheets of ice and others not? Shouldn't it be a standardized thing? Football games aren't played on Canadian fields ever so why does hockey differ?

I think it's a strong recommendation and not a requirement that teams play on NHL sheets. However, given that college hockey is tenuous and expensive as is, I think they pretty much let teams do whatever they want. People aren't going to build a new arena to fit the NHL requirement and painting new lines on a field is a lot easier than redoing an ice rink

Stats when you're as good as Minnesota (19-4-5) don't mean much. You could probably say things like "Minnesota is 12-1-3 when the temperature is 32 degrees and below. It's 31 degrees. THEYLL WIN"
