That was too close. Hey, Wolverines. Next time when you are winning by four with minimal time left and your opponents are shooting a three, let them have it. Just back away and let them shoot.

Ugly finish but very well played in the previous couple minutes to pull ahead and turn a tied game into a 6 pt lead.  Had to dig out of an early second half hole, too.

There are no bad road victories in this conference, especially not when you consider the injury situation and the youth at PG.  Good win, guys!

We beat KenPom on the road - no matter how you do that, it's a huge win.

Now we get Northwestern at home (who just get decapitated by Wisco) followed by Nebraska and Penn State.  Really crucial to get off to a 4-0 start and this win was probably the toughest part of that.

the good...we WON...Irvin is coming alive and we handled the pressure fairly well once we settled down.. Road wins are Huge..Stauskas was solid. Horford had a couple key baskets but missed a easy layup..we need more in the middle. we found a way to win a road game at a very tough place to play..

The bad..Walton missing TWO fts at the end..Im not impressed much wth him..I think he was overrated..Levert CONTINUALLY plays out of control and Morgan is worthless..

the ugly...Losing Robinson...if he doesnt come back right away that would be pretty much a complete Disaster for this team... who lets face it.. is struglling

Seriously? Walton is one game in to big ten play and you think he is overrated? Not every freshman pg is trey Burke. Would have liked to hear your opinion on Morris his freshman year. I trust Beilein his last two pg were drafted.

He is what he is.  A solid space eater who can grab a few boards, play some D and make the occassional put back.  WIth no real stud in our front court I will take a solid vet like Morgan.

Anyone still doubting?? They won with no McGary and Robinson for 1 half. This team is resilient playing a tough nonconference schedule is a huge advantage and they continue to improve as long as they stay healthy. The next 3 games shouldn't b too difficult but don't take anything for granted. Then u got @ Wisconsin and home with Iowa. I think they'll b fine

I think Walton does things many here aren't seeing because they hone in while he's leading the point on offense and realize it's not Trey Burke.  For example, he had a couple nice (needed) rebounds; one late-ish he skied high for and if he didn't get the ball it was going into Minnesota's hands again.  A couple first half drives we're actually pretty nice, one hanging in the air to get off and damn near putting it in over Elliason; they were misses, sure, but he attacked and put up some Burke-esque shots which will fall for him down the road.  He hit a big three as well, mid-2nd half.  A PG who can shoot is always huge.

Horford played pretty well.  I think him and Jordan bring different things to the table, both have their negatives, also (Jordan wouldn't have thrown down that big time dunk from Stauskas' assist, late, for example).

Overall a very big win in a good road environment playing the full 2nd half without an NBA player who's especially been playing well lately.

*Also, I do not like Pitino the Young...yet.  I don't like the way he looks (shallow, yes, I'm an asshole I admit it) and his walking up the sideline and the camera showing so much of him was annoying (albeit very minor).
