running better with spike and walton together---and oddly defense as well
Michigan - Minnesota basketball open thread
walton again burned up top. shit.
is awful--and no learning curve
was 100% on walton
yes he was beat, but Horford just leaves his man and steps in the middle--leaving his man wide open. At least the 6th time! He has to hedge--or try for the charge or block. He does none of them on any drive by their guards. Morgan has a feel for it--Horford not. Watch the replay.
Walton getting beat on the perimeter is getting very, very old.
Ya he's not even making them take a wider angle to the hoop, he's just straight up getting beat.
"NONONONO Yes okay!"
horford is a decent shooter.
That he's better from 10 feet than at the rim
Horford is not Wes Unseld or Mitch McGary
Oh Horford. No need for that pass.
Dammit, got a steal and turned it over.
Wow. How is that not a freakin blocking foul on that Horford basket??
But our inside D is more porous than our offensive line!
Going to need a gif of him just flopping on the ground there
Overall the refs haven't been that bad, but they are definitely allowing Minnesota to get away with more contact.
We're very much in this...in fact, we're winning.
We all know pessimism is the only way around here
How does Horford miss that layup?
Is up and down player on every possession
out please. he got beat down the court again. then had to foul.
Horford switching between good and bad possessions.
Horford can hit the 10 footer. It's the layup he can't it.
bad call again, refs, SMH
Horford can hit short jumpers all night, but if he has to lay it in over a guy 10" shorter than he is, that's a problem.
Is exactly why I'm glad we don't have a mascot.
Guy has bad Sparty haircut. Perfect.
Horford HAS to finish that...No excuse.
This is going to be a battle for a victory, whoever gets it.
...is where our heartbreaking losses have to come into play and we have to grow up, learn and finish.
We've been prepared for this finish, time go execute.
when was his last jump shot?
i will take a dunk
GREAT backdoor cut out of the timeout!
That's not a dig to anyone on the team. I just remember the NCAA tournament run....and I miss him
Is it just me or is Walton a pretty good rebounder for a little guy?
Yes. Climbs the ladder.
I don't know if he's "good" but that's a start.
Could be. But maybe our taller guys aren't as good rebounders as they could be.
This and better defender than given credit for which is why u play him over spike at the point late in games.
why so deep?
use a timout. your team is winded. nik couldn't even get down court there.
He listened. Now tell him to have someone hot a 3.
Nik has to hit that wide open look
Gone in. We deserved thar
Good timeout. Important possession here. A bucket changes everything.
This game has the feel of every one of our losses this year (besides duke)
