Michigan might wear Maize socks for the first time ever

I think this nicely sums up this thread.

I'm old and I think they look pretty good with the white road uni's.  

That, and my age.

I'm not a fan of the maize socks.

That's the train I'm on here.  I want maize pants back.  Also, I hope maize socks don't ever get worn with maize pants.  But with white pants, they look good.

I definitely prefer team colored or dark blue shoes instead of black. Socks can be white, blue, or yellow. Shoes are part of the uniform and black is not a team color.

Home unis, so a dumb comparison. Putting the white jersey on those and it looks like shit, and I'm old enough to remember some of Bo's years. It doesn't always have to be "the way BO did it". He is not the be all end all. Why do you arbitrarily stop with Bo? Why don't you go all the way back to Yost or Oosterbaan, or whomever else? The point is that styles change over time, especially those that aren't rooted in some type of deep tradition like the home unis. Deal with it.
