Goalies. Racine whiffed this away

Copp and compher not scoring much lately

Just not a tournament caliber team

Out scored opponent 10-2 in first four periods this weekend, then out scored 3-0 in last 2

M just loses too many games now to inferior opponents

Had to leave in the 2nd so missed everything after it was 3-2. Well our at-large bid is basically gone I think unless we sweep Minnesota or maybe split and get to the tournament finals. Really disappointing as we came out firing and were up 2-0 and 3-1.

Really sad that it looks like we're going to miss two straight tournaments. Avoiding those two losses to PSU is likely going to be the difference.

It was a great 30 years Red. Enjoy retirement.

No it isn't. The teams we needed to lose except for notre Dame all lost (Minnesota-duluth, no dak) or tied (Minnesota state). We are sitting at 14 in the PWR. I truly believe this team will continue on its trend of pulling out a great game on Friday night and get a split.

We're tied for 14th in PWR.  Assume at least one team and probably two below the top 16 win automatic berths so if we are not in the top 14 we are out.  I agree with those who say we need a split and a win against PSU or Moo in the first round of the B1G tournament.  PWR expects us to lose to Gophers so losses to Gophers don't hurt much but a victory will give us a boost.  What kills is losses to weak teams like PSU and Moo especially the loss to PSU at home.
