Didn't see the game and mgoblue.com wasn't update so I scrolled down here to get a game summary. It was terrific to keep seeing the GOOOAALLLL over and over again on the way down. Thanks for the updates all

Looks like we gained a little ground. I believe RPI is ranked by "QWB Adj RPI" which has up in 12th still but it's a dead heat for 10th

10. Notre Dame .5454
11. Providence   .5353
12. Michigan       .5353

We're gonna need that sweep of MSU and hopefully some points off Minnesota to get in that comfy top 10

Playing Western in Fargo tonight. North Dakota has been on a tear so don't hold your breath but they're the only team left in our group playing tonight.

#14 Vermont won tonight in the Hockey East tournament

You know how people in the media say "oh, I wish both teams could be nationally relevant for the rivalry".

Nah. I want Michigan dominating everyone in everything. Isn't this fun?

state still sucks.

7-1

IIRC Sinelli is the guy who was committed to State before but switched his commitment and bluntly told mgoblue that he committed to Michigan because he wanted to win. Fitting that he got his first hattrick vs STAEE

Edit: My mind is a steel trap

First 30 seconds. Key context being that he was committed to State before flipping

Andrew Sinelli wins now. MSU does not. Wise choice young man

They put one hell of a scare into a B1G co-champion.

WBB returned 11% of their offense this season and still managed to have a winning season and will make a deep run in the WNIT, if not win the whole thing and FINALLY get a WBB banner in Crisler.

WBB has trouble with finishing.  The other teams are bigger and we run out of gas.  It happened all season.  The team's going to get better.  We have the right coach but WBB has been so bad for so long their is no winning traditon so it takes more work.

on last year's  (2012-2013) team would disagree with you on the "so bad for so long" comment.  I'm pretty sure that senior class won more games than any preceding senior class.  Coach Borseth did a pretty good job with them, and those girls had winning records each of the last 3 seasons, including their first round NCAA game last year.

Just got back from the game.  We looked really good tonight.  I know STAEE has a way of making their opponents look good but this wasn't the team I saw lose to Penn State 2 weeks ago or lose to Ohio in a shootout last week.  Passing was much better.  Players were hustling to the puck.  Defensive lapses were fewer.

Let's go get one at Munn tomorrow.  Go Blue!!

Was kind of thinking, "You know, I prefer close games" to " Sweet! This is a beat down!!" just when I needed it too. You don't see that too often between these two. In fact, I can't find it at all in my memeory banks. I'm more used to seeing an undertalented Spartan team play us close or to win through pure determination and toughness. Plus, I got to see my daughter ride the zamboni again. They take the shoes now. "No problem daddy! The socks are definitely coming off!" That's my girl!!
