I prefer the HBO special on the Rivalry just because Desmond's quote about doing the Heisman in the end-zone. "Ahh Fuck it." Pure awesome.

As well done as that HBO special is, it's clearly one-sided toward the bad guys. This BTN special is about MEEEECHIGAN.

I don't think that the HBO special is one sided. They spend quite a bit of time of the 1969 upset over OSU. I think that it was pretty fair to both sides, they discussed Bo vs Woody a lot and i think it was necessary to talk about the tough times in Michigan football to build up the suspense and level of upset of the 1969 game.

Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit.... but seems I recall that as far as fanbase stuff... tailgating, atmosphere, gameday scenes, etc., it seems like they were showing more Buckeye stuff. Admittedly, I haven't watched that show since it originally aired.
The showed the same Desmond interview on the BTN program tonight, but instead cut to video footage of the game and dubbed him saying "Ah, forget it." UGH! Come on BTN, grow some balls!
