So they're going to have a day between each round? That's not as bad as I initially thought.
Some further information:
Top 2 seeds receive byes, winner of the tournament receives an auto-bid to NCAA tournament. Tickets for all games are $80 for upper level/$130 for lower level/$160 for club level.
Also, tickets go on sale Monday (this Monday Mar. 25th)
Geographically I agree, I'd go for something like, I don't know, Joe Louis. However the WCHA tournament is going to be going on over the same weekend, so I don't know if they did that to build interest/increase ticket sales or something like that.
