Out to 13. Looking better. Finally playing with some energy and will.
Michigan mens basketball vs. Illinois open thread
fun sequence there to up the lead
Finally! It took awhile, but we're finally hustling, getting the loose balls, we're doing the little things.
Not over, but if we're doing this, we're fine.
why would burke shoot that from the parking lot? it worked out for us though, so whatever
He's done that a couple times this games, made one (that I recall). Not sure why he feels the need.
I feel like the past few games Burke has been forcing things a lot.
It seems like I have an obsessed poster downvoting all of my posts now. I have a good suspicion of who it is.
I hate those people, it's annoying for everyone else in the thread as well.
I was thinking it was you. The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime.
Drawing the foul...love it. Leave him in Coach, leave him in!
Burke's decision making confuses me at times
Finally drawing an over the back there. Good work
If all the freshmen plus THJ come back next year
While we're at it, why not Burke as well?
Hope he goes along with lewan though
Not even being to the Sweet 16 since 1994 is kinda sad.
Guess BTN didn't get the memo. I thought the 1993 Final Four never happened.
Jesus Christ. Can we inbound the ball without a turnover please?
Why do we struggle so much with inbounding the ball. It's getting silly at this point.
Double dribble? NO BIG DEAL
...pass the ball. Don't shoot unless it's a put back.
With that call on GRIII, the refs have lost my respect.
Stauskas is playing his best B1G game.
Game's personal for Max. Doesn't the Bielfeldt family have some sort of building at U of I named after them?
But he's playing tough. Love it.
Unreal pass Nik!
Holy shit, they're going to double bonus with 10 minutes left at this rate.
So many fouls.
This inability to rebound the damn ball is very frustrating.
with 10:00 at this pace
We're now playing the refs too...
Just when we were pulling away 3 bad calls in a row (one no call).
Not a real clean game but I like the effort...
It isn't going to be super clean on the road, especially in conference.
Also, we're not always going to shoot the lights out.
But you CAN control the effort and that's why I was so frustrated in the first half...it wasn't there. Now we're fighting and it's been better if you ask me.
Also, it's hard to be clean when there are two different standards for what a foul is depending on the half.
...but is there a meaning behind the lettering on the warm-ups the guys on the bench are wearing? "WE ON" stands for what?
It's a sparkplug type metaphor. In order for the team to be on, each individual player needs to be on.
Everybody on one accord and playing as a team. The shirts are super expensive though. I bought 3 for $90...
Where'd you get one?
I've been wondering about those for awhile, I appreciate the explanations!
Just so everyone knows, we're up thirteen in Champaign.
These refs are keeping it manageable. A lesser team would be seeing their lead disappear.
I'm pretty sure that was Stu Douglass sitting closest to the camera in that speech Bacari is giving with the hammer. Anyone else thin that?
But someone already said it's from last year.
When regular season basketball games are causing 503 timeouts on the site.
Can we get some of these calls?
