Michigan makes the Top 10 for Keith Marshall
Benji from http://mgorecruit.blogspot.com tweeted it earlier today, and I saw Keith's profile from scout http://michigan.scout.com/a.z?s=162&p=8&c=1&nid=4705843 it seems like we're in his top 12ish, I realize he's still a longshot, but I'm glad to see we're hanging in there with a handful of nicely rated recruits, that's the first step to get them, come February I foresee a really nice class
This is great news. Despite him being a long shot, hearing interest in our team and the positive remarks after visits is great news. But we no longer have the snake oil, so Hoke's going to have to find another way to poach top recruits on signing day.
Where the hell is your subject? Weird...
(not that it really matters at all)
I'm beta testing the MGoDroid MGoBlog droid app. It is probably as a result of that. Thanks for the heads up, I'll pass it on to the developers.
I would prefer to have a 5* DT or LB in this class.
I love that I'm getting negged for being honest HALOL
You make room for a player like Marshall.
Yeah - it's too bad they made that rule where we have to pick one or the other.
I love how the anonymous cowards neg opinions soley because they're different from their own. More specifically, I bet that the anonymous cowards would all wax rhapsodic about how awesome the 1997 team was, and would goose themselves over how dominating the defense was. They won't mention that our RBs on that team were hardly game-breakers. Yet when someone suggests that perhaps a dominant defensive lineman or LB might be more valuable than a top-flight RB with respect to winning a NC, the negs come out.
Would love to land Marshall, but Wes Brown is prolly our most realistic option (and a good one too).
And that might mean Diggs too...
It's not a "might" anymore. Diggs and Brown have publicly stated that they're both a package deal, and sometime people say this and seperate to different schools, however these two seem to be dead set on it.
I've been following recruiting for a probably like 5-6ish years now, and I haven't once seen an early-stated package deal that actually came to fruition. The closest thing I've seen is probably Dee Hart and Hasean Clinton-Dix going to Alabama, but they never expressly stated that they'd be attending the same school.
With Diggs and Brown, it seems more likely than the usual package deal, but I'd still bet that it doesn't happen.
What about Denard and Adrian Witty? What do you have to say about that?
Oh wait . . . nevermind. : )
Can we all agree on never saying Dee Hart's name again. Clinton-Dix too. It really brings a tear to my eye.
Brown, Greg Germon or Donovan Roberts would all be good gets.
will put them in a lot of top 10s. It's gonna take some savvy work from Greg "the Magic Man" Mattison to land some of these upper echelon recruits.
wouldnt this one fall on borges? considering its an offensive player?
I posted this in the other thread, but I've talked to a lot of people close to Keith, and right now it's a pretty solid North Carolina/Georgia battle.
Obviously a lot could (and will) likely change, but in the last month Keith has visited UNC 4 times and Georgia 4 times..
UNC amazes me with the type of talent they bring in, even with a mediocre showing on the field. They have like 3 or 4 prospects projected for the first round this upcoming year.
this is good, now lets make his TOP 5!
I swear Woodley and Jackson were a package deal.
