No, Nate Sudfeld is a very good quarterback, Michigan couldn't just sell out every play. Brandon Harris is nowhere near as good, to put it lightly. I really don't understand how LSU doesn't have anyone better.

Correction, 66 points, and yes Bolden would be awful, but if other teams can withstand a lot of yards by Fournette, so can we.  The LSU offense as a whole is still pretty mediocre.

you guys serious? That is a big time matchup on New Years Day. That would be a great outcome for this team against a style of play we are well suited to defend. You don't want a M v. LSU matchup? That would be more "marquee" than the Fiesta Bowl ND game everybody was calling for.

This 100%. The offenses Michigan's D struggled to stop included two fast-paced spread teams and one passing attack in Minnesota that seemed mostly lucky then became confident. LSU has very minimal passing threat and runs a more pro-style run attack, which the defense has shut down all season. I am not saying that Fournette won't get his 100 yds, but I don't see the defense giving up 30 pts to that offense. Maybe 20 on a bad day.

The real question is whether or not Rudock will be available.

Just don't get this thinking. Michigan v. LSU would be a highly anticipated game. It would also be a huge win to build on. Guys, we don't suck because of yesterday. OSU was firing on all cylinders and we were worn out. This would be a good outcome for us

What kind of excuse is ''we were worn out''?

Wouldn't OSU be worn out too since MSU punched them in the mouth last week?

We don't suck...but we're not good enough to play LSU with our defense and Rudock unknown.

is not an excuse, it is a reality. I am not saying we would have won the game fresh, but people shaking in their shoes against a 3 loss LSU team is ridiculous. We play in the toughest division in college football man. This is not 10 years ago and LSU is not some football god. OSU also kicked Bamas ass last year man in case you forgot. The sky didn't fall yesterday. We slipped up and caught a beat down. OSU was in a bounce back week and they got us. Now the train rolls forward.

It was wayyyyy more than a slip up. It was we're gonna run the ball every play and you can't do anything about it. This wasn't just some game...it was kind of a big game and we didn't show up at all.

We have no running game and now with so many DL injuries we have no rush defense. We would not fare well againt LSU.

don't see it, and yesterday was not the end of the world. It was not realistic to expect a win yesterday. The margin was not pretty but it is not going to have any lasting effect on the program. The team has been playing above themselves for 3 months and they ran out of gas. Give them a month to rest up and heel up and they will play strong in a bowl. Again, the train rolls forward and we will see the Buckeyes again.

Would love to see this. I always want to see Michigan play good teams. I know fournette is a bad matchup but I would love to see what the coaching staff could do with a month to prepare.

I don't know how others are feeling, but I'm feeling like we're 9-3 and ready to put the damn work in to get another win to cap off this year.  I can't wait until we recruit some monsters of our own so we can stomp on OSU.

I was watching the Stanford and Notre Dame game last night and I couldn't help but think that even though we're 9-3, we don't look half as intimidating as those two teams. I love Michigan but we definitely need more playmakers and obviously Harbaugh knows that as well. Its amazing what he has done with what Harbaugh got. Now its turn to recruit and develop players and turn this team into a monster. The future is bright!

9-3 in the big ten doesn't mean the same thing that it did in the 90s and early 2000s. 9-3 means you beat rutgers and maryland instead of iowa and wisconsin. It means that, out of 12 games, in the 4 games against good teams, you went 1-3. When one of those losses is a blow out, it means that record is even less impressive.

9-3 means that you know how to close games against teams you should beat, but that you still have a huge talent gap relative to elite opponents.

was not a huge talent gap between Michigan and Michigan State. We were down 2 starters on D-line. They were without 1.5 starters on OL. They also have a senior top 5 QB and we played them straight up. They have more depth right now but A-team v. A-team it is close to a wash. State caught a huge break with the weather against OSU.
