Wolverines only trail Ohio and Western Michigan in their search for the CCHA regular season crown.

Its amazing how bunched up the CCHA is in its final year. Should be a good battle that goes down to the wire.

Also, the CCHA tourny should be a hell of a tournament.

Michigan looked pretty dominant this weekend with Merrill back.  Regardless how we finish in the CCHA rankings, we should be in good shape for the post-season.

I have not watched much Michigan hockey this year (being in Chicago it is very difficult, as you can imagine) but watching the series versus OSU this weekend was pretty damn impressive. Ohio is a good squad and Michigan made them look silly all weekend.

Shots on goal is still a bit concerning (46 on Friday for osu). Hunwick needs to remain sharp, as he has most of the year. I have not seen the outdoor game yet - on my DVR.

Huge weekend upcoming at ND - need to keep the momentum going.

In both games Michigan out played OSU in every aspect of the game. Watching the games OSU players looked silly trying to keep up with Michigan's stick handling and puck movement. This team seems to be hitting its stride at the right time. Big games coming with ND, MSU, and Miami split each of those series and they should be in good position come tourney time.

I was very impressed with how Andrew Sinelli played this weekend. His back checking was outstanding and he put great pressure on the puck on the forecheck.

I too haven't gotten to watch much of the hockey team this season (out of market with no Big Ten Network has certainly killed), but I've tried to follow them as best as I can With all those seniors leaving, I was worried that this team would not be nearly as good. Then the Merrill suspension happened, and there was a lot asked of freshmen as a result. It seems like it might have helped in the long term. I'm looking forward to sitting back and watching this team face Notre Dame on Friday on NBCSN.
