but it's eight bucks for tonight and another eight tomorrow, plus some other longer term options if you want to start watching LSSU athletics online. I don't want to sound like such a broken record (I feel like I say this almost every weekend), but LSSU and Ferris and whoever else having these options available and Michigan doing nothing similar just seems ridiculous.

I don't know what the market is for hockey viewing online, but Michigan might be able to finance something free through some kind of advertising, especially if they used broadcasting students like they do for "BTN Campus" or whatever they call the version that's only available on Big Ten university networks.

Either way, I'd gladly pay LSSU's prices to watch all of the non-nationally televised games. $75 works out to something like five bucks a game; I get more value out of that than ESPNU or some of the other cable sports networks on my cable tier.

and I'd gladly pay and watch commercials; I just think it might be possible to break even without subscription fees, which is what the guy above suggested.

Hopefully the BTN takes over and knows what they're doing next year, even if that requires buying a premium package for cable or online. $100 to catch every Big Ten hockey game along with some kind of permium previews or wrap up shows would get a lot of buyers between M, MSU, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and maybe a few people would pull the trigger in State College or Columbus.

Who knew a change in my jersey choice would result in this? Usually I wear my 2008-09 - 2010-11 diagonal Michigan third jersey for all games. But tonight I'm wearing the jersey Michigan wore in the GLI I recently bought.

You're welcome guys.

I blame the OHL. I my 30 years of attending UM hockey games, from when I was five, this is as tough as I can remember. I have 90s nostalgia for hockey....and everything else.

Michigan took care of the storm aka the 2nd period. Has been the worst period so far for them this season and as long as they score goals in it, it's been a success.

Gotta close this one out now.

Since I can't watch the game, and there's no Friday drinking thread, I thought I should announce here that I'm celebrating the UP by watching "Escanaba in da Moonlight" and drinking some Buds.

Also, good to see the team playing better. Thanks for the updates on the thread.
