Great throwback screen, but I'm hoping Coach Borges is saving up some plays for next week.  He's really opening up the book today, maybe just trying to see what works?  Certainly going to cause Coach Meyer some pain this week gameplanning...

Stop it people. With the Nebraska...now Bama?

That was the FIRST game of the year. You think Gardner would hoenstly be prepared to take on the #1 team in the nation in the first game of the year?

Also, did you take into account that Bama had ALL summer to scheme for Michigan? They had 1 week to prepare for TAMU who they played midseason, a QB who had multiple games under his belt --- more than Garnder would've had vs. Bama.

you couldn't of predicted this.  while I kinda wish in some ways when Hoke came in he would of looked at denard and thought I like this guy he is the leader but he is going to be my Playmaker not QB (he would play alot of wildcat of course) we would be a different team right now.  but frankly devin didn't look ready last year so I don't blame hoke or borges.

I am very pleased with this game. I will have a Founder's Breakfast Stout in celebration of a brilliant first half.

I love how Hoke is making the Big House a place you don't come in and get a win at. Also I forgot how much I missed beating Iowa.

I like Borges - but I'll be critical of him as I would anyone. Include Mattison last week who I felt coaches his worst game in the maize and blue.

With that said, most people (like myself) thought that it had nothing to do with the system or the QB in it. I feel he's done a masterful job with this multiple offense --- I hope it never goes away. Just gets a little more pass or run oriented depending on the QB.

With that said, my issues with Coach Borges have been in playcalling. He gets too cute too quickly. Just like today, forget the triple reverses until we're up by a couple of scores.

ND game was the epitome of Borges getting too cute. We should've won that game --- period. But we wanted to call HB passes and crazy shit all in the redzone when we're ON THE ROAD, VERSUS A RIVAL. Just score. Go for the kill shot later in the game.

Is 6-5 morass in EL going to help intergalactic recruiting?

Indiana defenders look a tad slow vs the speedy PSU receiver (and that's an oxymoron).

At least UM is putting on an exciting show for the B1G ...

Wish he had one more season so we could see this type of offense for an entire year!!! And I believe we are the best team in the big ten, just had some unlucky things happen and Nebraksa has been nothing but lucky in every single game.

It's a huge and likely incorrect assumption, but suppose Gardner was this ready going into the season. Now imagine this offense with Robinson taking most snaps at RB and some snaps at QB. Imagine the RB pitch "oh noes" pass to wide open WR play. In this fantasy scenario, Denard is likely a Heisman candidate with video game like numbers on the ground, screen catches in open space for 40 yd gains, and passing yards in his stat line too.

Yikes. The all time high school career rushing champ (11600+ yrds) is going to Bama next year. How fair is that? You might want to transfer Dee Hart.
