Iowa to fall. UofM 27 and Iowa 24.
Hail, Hail ...

Defensive 3 and out combined with a nice long TD drive (without Molk) makes me smile. Keep it up guys. Hope Molk can return though. I can't hold my breath any more.

UM manned down.
UM will get humiliated again...unfolding right now.
Yikes...the lug nuts are being stripped off as we speak...someone from UM better get out and apply some loctite on them cuz the wheels are about to come off.

you might want to stay away. Iowa is treating UM like a f**k doll right now. They are just having their way with the Whiferines.

Faith has been lost. Will attempt to find at the bottom of the bottle.

I have supported Rodriguez and Gerg the entire time (even after UMass). So I say this at the risk of negging but all the faith I have put into Rodriguez is starting to go away. The biggest problem is stagnant playcalling and lack of adjustments. This game and MSU have been the story of the last two years. Mich offense comes out hot, other team makes an adjustment, we don't, and the offense doesn't move anymore.

RR has next season to get it all in place. Even if UM loses the rest of the games this year...next year is his year to make or break it.

I know there is a 4-5 year plan and all that. But right now the problem isn't personel so much as playcalling and adjustments. After the first drive Iowa (and MSU) have sat on everything because the predictability is difficult to put into words. How many times does the Denard run have to get stuffed before you run something else on first down?

Decent Defenses are forcing Mich to work it down the field, and without the big play RR's offense seems to stall.
Not to mention the fact that he seems to constantly go away from things that work, like pulling hopkins for smith. Also on D, Demens was in for first 2 series, then in comes Obi getting pancaked in the hole by a pulling guard.
It's so frustrating watching Michigan football not even be competitive with the upper echelon of the Big 10 (which now includes Sparty).

HOW the fuck does our D come out with so much life.. then they completely fucking fold after Iowa's first two drives..
We go from completely stuffin the run, to give up almost 7-8 yards every fucking carry..
Then on offense we run hopkins up their ass on the first drive and now he is hardly being used?
Denard looks scared out there once again and runs with complete indecision. It looks like we didn't even try to prepare for this game.
Iowa will win this game comfortably in the 2nd half. For the first time this year i want to see us adjust and play with some LIFE in the 2nd half. Our offense looks like it has zero drive and doesn't care and so does our defense.

This proves just how invaluable Molk is to this offense. This doesn't even look like the same offense. I hope Molk can come back.

Michigan is a poorly coached team. Nobody knows to cover a blocked FG? How many penalties? Also, apparently our coaches teach our players to tackle via grabbing the opposing teams facemask.
2010 is looking a lot like 2009. Bring on the Harbaugh rumors and another 3 year rebuilding effort.

I wonder why I look forward to Saturday so much. It just seems like all I do is scream at the t.v. anymore. Penalties, penalties, penalties. So many penalties everygame are coaching issues.

Iowa's O-line is giving Stanzi a tremendous amount of time.

I'm glad to see the live blog is only for intellectually vacant douche bags like Geaux Blue. Anyone that is not pissed and had enough of Rich Rods coaching isn't a Michigan Fan. I was his biggest fan but its time to see what is in front our face. These kids are not well coached. Too many dumb mistakes. I'm sorry but it's the coaching. I know I am now banned because I'm not being a Michigan drone. I am a better fan than all of you because I now demand something better!!!! Fuck you Geaux Blue, you are not a Michigan Fan. You madam are a fraud.

...God Help U of M.

The reason this is so painful is that like you all, I love the Maize and Blue, and it is tough to watch this crumble. I want RR to succeed but it doesn't look good.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:10 PM ^
I still support RR but these penalties and turnovers killed us. I'm now in the fire GErG camp however.

Still a slim chance Iowa can "ferentz" this away with lloydball. Defensive stop, TD, and on side kick...
