Michigan - Iowa Game Thread

Submitted by mGrowOld on

I've never done one of these before but it's about 20 minutes to kick-off and none of the usual suspects have stepped forward so I guess it's time.  I'm feeling good about this game and think Michigan wins 24-14.  Meanwhile, over on ESPN Sparty takes on the Cats at noon so we've got plenty of Michigan (the state of)  football to watch early.

scored only one TD over the last 3 games, I predict we'll have twice that many in this game alone.  I saw some things last week at NU that make me honestly believe our offense is on the verge of figuring things out enough to be trending upwards.  But the weather won't be condusive to producing any kind of real offensive explosion.

I'm calling it Michigan 17, Iowa 13.

I am loyal to Michigan and have been for a lifetime. This is the worst offense I can remember and Gardner is the worst overall quarterback we have had in forever. Poor decisions, takes to long making decisions. He is hoorible. The defense played great today but ran out of gas trying again to hold up this horrible offense. Gardner and Borges need to go. a 7 and 5 record and a Motor City Bowl or something similar is inexcusable for this program. What about next year? Gardner back? So what. No offensive line, we lose Gallon and the recruits will start falling again. We are one of the bottom teams in the Big Ten and have been for 6 years with no end in sight. We can not compete against Michigan State and Ohio. We will be back someday but it seems years and coaches away from that day coming. I cannot wait to be here for when that day finally comes. Hopefully the AD does something sooner instead of later. This progran should not be one of the worst teams in the country.

This is kinda wierd.  Seems like the board isnt excited for the game (like before MSU) or pissed off (like Northwestern).  People seems just bleah......

WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP CLARKIE???  AFTERALL....HE IS A CANADIAN FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!

I think of myself as a part-time Canadian BTW.  My parents had a summer home in Sarnia and I spent every summer there and didnt come back to Michigan until school started back up.  Learned new words like "ah", "zed" (which is actually a letter) and that your car goes into the garrragge.

I love Canada.

He said he'd start one of the young guys...dissapointing.  Green earned the start with last week's performance.
