Michigan - Iowa Game Thread

Submitted by mGrowOld on

I've never done one of these before but it's about 20 minutes to kick-off and none of the usual suspects have stepped forward so I guess it's time.  I'm feeling good about this game and think Michigan wins 24-14.  Meanwhile, over on ESPN Sparty takes on the Cats at noon so we've got plenty of Michigan (the state of)  football to watch early.

That's our Borges, 3rd highest paid assistant in the country! What do we have to show for it? Most negative yardage plays in the country, 6 yards this half. We are +4 in TO margin and the game is tied. What?!

I could be in the press conference and scream at Hoke and Borges. I wish reporters would ask them real questions. Like, "how long are you going to use the we are young excuse?" How is 6 yds in the second half acceptable? How does Al Borges have his job? Why does he never adjust to the defense?

This is a disaster.  The defense is coming apart at the seams right when it needs to keep us in the game.  The offense can't score, so if Iowa scores here, we're done.

17 unanswered points with 4 turnovers. That doesn't day shit about the Iowa defense. It says that Al MF Borges is a humiliation to the fans and players of the University of Michigan.

So in order for us to pick up a single first down on this coming drive, we'll have to more than double our total yardage for the second half to this point.
