Michigan / Iowa on BTN Now.

Nearly halftime; interesting to see the team develop, despite the loss. Also, Monday is Michigan day on BTN.

EDIT: I have officially declared Monday a holiday.

It's hard to watch. We were clearly better than them, but made far too many mistakes. I know how it ends, but part of me watches it thinking that maybe things go differently this time.

I think this was Iowa weekend for BTN.  All of the football games they showed were wins over us.  Last year's game, the 2003 game (Lost 30-27) and the 1990 game (Lost 24-23).

Why is everything centered on Michigan?  I can think of handful of wins over OSU they could have shown or how about that game against Sparty 2 years ago where they won on the final play of the game?  That seems more worthyof a classic than our game with them last year where the refs forgot how to call the game.

Whenever I get I start to shake my head over the Iowa game, I think back on how easily the VaTech and ND games could have went the other way.

It was an extremely rare time that I left a game early. I was so pissed, and was on vacation. Thanks for the great memory BTN....pause... pause...pause... NOT!

I was at the game, and I have yet to see the whole game on TV.  The Hemingway "catch" happened right in front of me, and I had a meltdown when they waved it off, much to the embarassment of my companions, who were pulling for Iowa, by the way.  I need to see if I can be seen in the footage of the game LOL.  I couldn't tell if the catch was legit or not live, of course.

The PI on Roundtree on the last play of the game was clear even to me (same endzone as the Hemingway play).

Kinnick is a fun place to watch a game, and I recommend it to everyone.

I know it was rough losing this game but looking back I see it now as wakeup call. I was worried it was the start of a losing streak like in 2009 and 2010 but instead it marked the start of the complete opposite.

I think I remember Heiko writing in his preview that this was the lose that really woke the team up and got them pissed off. We probably should have won, but I'll take the end result of the season
