Long's open-field tackle (21:00) was quietly an important play - if the receiver had gotten that one extra yard, IU would have had time to take a couple of shots into the endzone.

WD: Something I’ve been wondering about, and you’re the man to ask on something like this... when is the last time a Michigan QB threw for 58 yards (or less)? I would really like some historical perspective on how bad yesterday’s QB performance actually was.

Last year vs Indiana was pretty close to the same passing numbers for O'Korn, but he did have 59 yards.
O'Korn, John 7-16-0 59 0 21 2

I’ve been meaning to ask, what does WH style stand for again?

WolverineHistorian.
He stopped doing them for current games awhile ago so I model my editing style after how he did his videos.
Tells the whole story of the game. Other highlight videos just include our highlights.

Two negs just because you're WD.
I basically only visit the boards for news-type items and to laugh at bad OPs, and this is part of the reason why.

Thanks WD! The WH style of highlights has become my standard for watching highlights nowdays. Captures the game perfectly.
Go Blue!

Man. Watching those highlihgts, I saw fucking 4-5 dropped perfect balls and only a couple terrible passes (Only one dangerous--the deep ball to Crawford). Not that the plays were gonna get huge yards, but O'Korns stat line looks a little more like a solid game manager if he's 15/20 for 100 yards
October 15th, 2017 at 3:48 PM ^
Yeah, our passing game problems aren't just on O'Korn - our receivers need to step it up as well.
October 15th, 2017 at 7:57 PM ^
It's a collective effort. Offensive line stepped it from last week.

In today's football, you need more than 100 yards a game to be a solid game manager. That said, I do agree that the receivers are not making it easier on him. Hard to get in a groove and build any confidence with all these drops.

Baby steps. We just threw for under 60 yards

Have you done one for every game this season? Would love to see the others
October 15th, 2017 at 4:12 PM ^
Watching this gives me hope for the rest of the season in regards to the OL. Sure its Indiana, but there were some DAMN good blocks made in this game. The seal block by JBB on the long run was a huge step in the right direction. If only our passing game was progressing like this. Fun to watch those holes being created by the OL.

we don't look quite as awful. The beauty of selective editing.
October 15th, 2017 at 9:08 PM ^
... a bunch of defensive penalties. (Not a ding on WD -- but I think that was part of the story on Indiana's first scoring drive (or first touchdown drive).

Pretty amazing goal line stand. Just missed on the long pass to DPJ early. JOK is evasive. PI's were not called both ways but we won. Weak pi call on D. Long late. Indiana not a bad team like some on blog seem to think. They played hard the whole game. Our Defense is pretty special and fun to watch (hot take) On to PSU & Go Blue!

Awesome thanks WD!

and punt when we can win the game with a 1st down.
October 15th, 2017 at 7:55 PM ^
With the way we were passing, I wouldn't dare try a pass play there.
October 15th, 2017 at 8:01 PM ^
Would you have prefered an incompletion, sack or INT? The way our passing game has been going...
October 16th, 2017 at 8:05 AM ^
Best part about this cut: almost no color commentary!
October 16th, 2017 at 9:34 AM ^
of bullshit. you'll still keep every play that you have here.

We really ran the ball well. I know this game was low scoring and against IU, but wow did we run the ball well.
