Yeah, the link was up a few days ago but the link was directly to YouTube, not to the BTN site who embedded it, so it looks like a fresh link. Whatever. Still a good video.
but that shit-eating scowl on Mork and the grin from Harbaugh is just beautiful...

Small correction, it is not a "BTN Hype Video" as the title suggests. It is a "KK Productions" video that the BTN posted on their website.

That's the best one I've seen. I've been dissappointed with most of the hype videos I've seen this year. This one is perfect.

the other day, and reran it for about an hour. What makes this so effective is the fact that the theme is matched with great sound and editing. The opening frames of an empty lockeroom are given power from Tom Brady's motivating words and the message just flows with a feel of a real movie trailer generating all the emotion and buildup heading into the Harbaugh era. Great juxtaposition of the coaching faces at the end. The Bo sound bite could have come from the Team speech, but the tunnel reference perfectly blends all the iconic imagery of Michigan Stadium established by Brent Musberger's scene-setting opening line, "You are looking Live" at the biggest house in college football. We are all looking forward to looking live at the Harbaugh edition of Michigan football, and this hype video does a perfect job of conveying the mood for the season ahead.

There's not much to not love or to not like, but the one thing I don't like is that the only team member who got a 'mention' was Frank Clark. A not so bright spot on the team last year

I love the last approx. 5 seconds with the "you know the question, who's got it better than us?!?"

They got what they wanted . . . they padded their resumes with some fluff, graduated, and are now on to the next shiny object at their new employer.

Hadn't seen this yet, but this might be the best Michigan hype video I've ever seen. Literally gave me chills and I had to play it 4-5 times. Well done to whoever made it!

Both have a "blog" element to their site. And now, ESPN is doing the same thing with "SportsNation" by posting social media and content fan sites are discussing.
All of these sites literally have people assigned to find things like this that are on MGoBlog, Scout, 247, Rivals, etc.
It can be jersey concepts, hype videos, vine videos, etc. - but it's not actually a publication or acknowledgement by a "higher" news group (ESPN/NBC/BTN, etc.) - it's just them getting more eyes by using stuff that people are talking about - helping things go "viral" and connecting with their readers.
Way back when fan sites and "news" sites had very different memebership. Now, everyone posts/reads/knows about both. Clearly, just look at how MGoBlog has changed over the years - it used to feel a lot more exclusive. ESPN even tried creating their own fansites (and failed).
I only mention this because being on BTN or SportsNation or NBC's edtor/blog page doesn't really mean anything anymore. Back in the day if ESPN reported content that was on MGoBlog - it was like WHOA! We made it!!! Now? It's just like, oh, their intern saw our thread.
*I'm speaking in generalities, because the Olbermann/WD thing is and will always be awesome, but that's also a show and now a SportsNation fan page mention.
They should play that "WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US??!!" For the intro video at the Big House and let all 100,000+ Michigan fans yell "NOOOOOOOOOOOBODY!!!!"
