Michigan Hockey vs. Wisconsin - Open Thread
Michigan gets swept in Madison by scores of 5-2 and 3-1. Keep your hand hovered over the panic button as the team is 0-4-1 over their last five and the offense has looked completely lifeless since the WMU game
This leaves Michigan at 10-6-1 and 2-2 in the B1G. Not looking good right now.

The UNH series was when Nagelvoort got his chance and then started for a few games while Racine recovered. Since Racine returned they've been splitting the Friday-Saturday games

Plucked him out of the NAHL and he's playing like an All-American. I believe his save percentage is still somewhere around 0.94

certainly makes this season look a lot different. 10-2-1 (2-0) is a lot prettier looking than 10-6-1 (2-2)

Lots of chances for them, we can't string anything together. Red switched up the lines a bit but it hasn't helped so far (in fact it looks worse than last night)

All of our shots seem to be right on the goalies gut or wide of the net i.e. doesn't seem like we're challenging their goalie right now

I've never played hockey but how hard is it to not turn the puck over in front of the net. Our defensemen do it every time.

I am troubled by the lack of scorers on this team. Copp, Moffett, Motte, and Bennett dominate our stat sheet, while the others just stand around.
