Michigan Hockey plays their exhibition game against Toronto at 5:05pm at Yost.
The freshman 1st round NHL draft pick from Shelby Township Kyle Connor gets the start.

Michigan opens the regular season on October 16 against Mercyhurst.

In another world, U of Toronto would be a really cool 1-sport addition to the Big Ten. There's a dozen reason why it would never happen but they offer academics, prestige, the market, etc. If they were to join the B1G they could get enough talent to field a competitive team.

They are not even competitive in the CIS. Hockey team is mid pack in the weakest conference and the football team is towards the bottom in the strongest conference.
