The 2-5-0, unranked Wolverines take on the American International Hornets tonight at 7:35pm at Yost.

Michigan has never faced AIC. AIC is out of the AHA and is based in Springfield, MA.

Michigan is 16-3-1 against the Atlantic Hockey Association all-time. Their most recent game with an AHA team was last season in a 6-0 win over Niagara

Michigan has won four straight against AHA teams, averaging 6.75 goals per game.

If they have any trouble whatsoever with this team.........wow this is gonna be a reaaaallly rough year. They must sweep this team. There is no other choice.

They're the Yellow Jackets, not the Hornets.

This program has had the same coach since they became a D1 program in 98, but they've never finished above .500. They're on the same level as Holy Cross. Bad.

Glendening with a sweet backhand to beat Crawford.

Jimmy H is playing out of his mind right now. We'll need it, Chicago going on the PP.

Michigan Women's Basketball was down by 11 at half against Detroit. 17-2 run to open the 2nd half. 43-39 Michigan!

I found it alarming that Michigan scored only 1 in the 1st. There are probably ACHA teams that could beat AIC. That's how bad they are. And of course, they tie the game.

Michigan Women's Basketball wins! 76-57 over Detroit after being down 11 at half. Writeup to come later.

Much much better that period. That goal let in by 'Voort was awful but otherwise we looked how you'd actually expect Michigan to play vs the AIC's of the world

4-1. That should be game. Maybe Michigan can keep their average consistent vs AHA teams and get two more goals.
