Michigan Hockey season tickets now available

Submitted by Unicycle Firefly on

For those who are interested, new hockey season tickets are now available on mgoblue.com.  Obviously not the greatest home schedule this year, but this might be a good chance to grab a spot for what will likely be Red's swan song season.  If you're on the fence, it might also be a good chance to get in before the inevitable resurgence of Michigan hockey in the near future.  The prices for new tickets are as follows:

  • Endzone (Sections 10, 13, 23, 24, 28, 29): $340 per ticket
  • Endzone middle (Sections 11, 12, 25, 26, 27): $395 per ticket

I'll see you guys at Yost!

I'm on the fence.  I've had season tickets since 1997 (after 2 years on the waiting list- those were the days).  But, the home schedule is horrible, the team is likely to be horrible, and all the scheduling for TV makes it a real tossup whether to renew.  Probably will renew only because it's Red's last season and the price seems lower than last year. As for the inevitable resurgance of the program, nothing is inevitable and we all should expect several years more of mediocre or worse hockey, at best.  Said to say, but Red hung too long.  I love him but it will take years to recover from the last few years of decay in the program.  Neg away.

They'll do four packs. That's what I did last year. I got student ones this year but it is a lot especially if you're driving in from a ways and it's every weekend.

If we get Pearson, I think it should be fairly seamless as far as replacing a legend... but yeah, the long goodbye does seem to be hurting everything long term.
