Great game to attend, quiet crowd, beat the snot out of the Buckeyes as a clearly superior team.......Nothing better than watching the Buckeyes lose in person at their place!

time. This is not a 2nd ranked team right now. You have 5 or 6 pp chances and you can't convert on one of them? UH OHHH. Having Merrill back is awesome too! Overall for OSU Cal Heeter was the only reason why this game looked so close. Take him away and we would of won 6-0! We're going beat the hell out of them Sunday! This team is fired up baby!!!!

NO EXCUSE for not being able to capitalize on a two man advantage. That is not good and might be our Achilles heel come playoff time. I thought our passing looked great in the 2nd though! We need to keep attacking when we have a two goal lead. It felt like we were doing more protecting than attacking in the 3rd.

because OSU had a ton of grade A chances that Hunny shutdown. I thought we controlled play for large points and had the better chances by far though. Definitely made it look like the accidentally swapped the rankings.

This all makes me wonder where we'd be if we had had Merrill all year

And also, I thought putting PDG and Treais on the same line worked great. They were buzzing all night and had a ton of great scoring chances. Unless I'm mistaken, I thought both of the even strength goals came on their shift (one certainly did)

PDG and Treais looked good together.  I'd love to see Moffatt on that line with those two, I think that could be pretty potent. And he's not bad defensively, so while that would probably still be a bit of a concern on that line, it's not horrible.  But I don't think it's going to happen, Red has shown extreme reluctance to move Glendening off of what would probably be considered the top 2 lines and I don't see him starting now.  I want to get Moffatt more chances, his backhand is wicked.

Fun side note:  According to the box score tonight, Merrill took a face-of.  Of course, he won it.  Is there anything that kid doesn't do?!

I really think that sunday's crowd will be more Michigan fans due to ohio having a Top-10 matchup with indiana in basketball at 4:30 and the Faceoff is at 5pm.

Plus Michigan fans actually care about the program and go to games.

Best fans + best arena= impressed recruits= commitments= chmpionship banners.

Sorry ohio, but if you can only fill your arena up when Michigan comes twice (once this season) then you are never going to be a serious contender year in, and year out. I actually feel a little bad for the kids on that team because they can't compete with the other sports there. Their fans are too busy beating off to their new overrated football coach (who is 0-1 against Michigan) and their overrated basketball team.

That said, Michigan's outdoor record is 1-1-1. Let's make that a winning record on sunday.

GO BLUE! We want that trophy!

or haven't seen the box score, 2 of the four were empty netters. Not to discredit the team, they played a hell of a game and put up 2 pretty quickly and didn't let up. So nice seeing Jonny back out there.

I wore the road blue tonight and we won 4-0 on a Friday night. Should I switch to maize for Sunday? :/ I'm superstitious I can't help it lol

Michigan will wear their road jerseys sunday anyways. It's only at home, or if they are the designated home team, I believe that they are allowed to go home jersey (white) for the first game of the series. And then wear their third (Maize) jersey for the second game.
