agreed.  i was going to mention how annoying those type videos are, as well as somewhat misleading.  kind of tough to honestly eval or gauge players when tape settings are jumping all over the place like that.

i guess it could be cool for 3 min highlight tape for youtube or whatever but theres a reason coaches prefer straight game tape and highlights.

id prefer the coaches pull in 1-2 of really athletic WR/CB prospects theyre targeting but corley could develop into a solid player if go that route - the kids got serious ball skills, even thats obvious from that funky film

Just a hypothetical here, but if he chooses MSU what does that make him? Because McDowell chose MSU and it looks like he'll end up being the best of his class from the state of Michigan. Yes I know this is a running thing to be said here, but Corley will be a star wherever he ends up. Just like Burbridge is turning out to be.

If it's free it's a recruiting violation. Outside of their official equipment deal you can't even give free OSU t shirts to current OSU players let alone recruits. Same for any school. Having been on officials I can tell you they take that seriously in my experience. They will take you to the bookstore but you are paying full price yourself.

Much as I'd love to see an athlete like Gary, after 10 years of following recruiting, I'm weary and leary of the superstar that doesn't want to make a commitment by the fall of his senior year. Either you love Michigan or you don't. And if the latter, good luck to you. We're moving on and we like our star walkon DT just fine, thanks.

Dude regular people don't make college decisions before their senior year of high school. I didn't know where I wanted to go until at least January and I was in no way under the kind of pressure and scrutiny that these athletes are under. As far as I'm concerned each and every one of them could wait until NSD, ESPECIALLY a kid like Gary who could literally go to any school in America.
