Blue in Yarmouth

but have you been watching any games this year? I mean, there is no question our O-line has been well below par but the RB's haven't shown a lot either. Rawls specifically has been a disappointment IMHE as he was supposed to be one of those backs who breaks tackles and and run through defenders. I have been amazed at how a back of his size goes down on first contact virtually everytime.

We have Fitz for one more year (and who knows how he will respond after his injury) and that is essentially it. How on earth could someone look at oour running back situation and say it's fine? After Fitz we have zero proven commodities at RB and given the injury he just sustained we can't even count on him being his old self for sure. That is not a situation I would characterize as fine, but that's just me.

Considering that Joliet Catholic doesn't churn out top talent regularly makes me think there's some interest.  On a side note, Treadwell's recruitment has remined me of Isaac's.  Lots of visits here, but no commitment.

I reading on the Michigan Recruiting HQ from someone that goes to his school and knows Ty says that Ty Issac is looking for a school that will offer him cash under the table, aka Pay to Play.  For some reason he thinks Michigan may budge this time.  I highly doubt they will, though.  The focus should be on Green.

he means he has a mean headache out of the blue (ie out of nowhere) and he's ready to take some medicine to knock him out

Or we could continue to overanalyze every last character he puts onto twitter

While the staff is in Illinois it would be nice if they stopped by Crete to re-establish the love with Treadwell.  There's only about 30 miles between the two and unless there is info they have otherwise, it certainly couldn't hurt.  Reports that he was slipping with us are sad.  Reconnecting with the original Illinois trio (LTT being the 3rd from way back) and trying to bring them full circle to Michigan together would be tremendous!

meh. not a fan of 6'3" running backs. yes, I know there are examples of some good ones out there, but there aren't manny. Most successful RBs are between 5'7" and 6'1".

First, coaches don't just drop by a player's house and barge in. The player/family invite the coaches to visit and talk. Dad gets his questions ready and Mom serves tea & biscuits, and then Dad clams up and Mom grills the coaches. Second, coaches obviously attend because there is even a slight chance to persuade the recruit - but often the coaches have a relationship with the parents and HS coaches that they respect enough to spend a few hours talking to build goodwill at worst. Someone in the Isaac family isn't 100% sold on USC and maybe Hoke will persuade them. Coaches aren't there for tea and biscuits.

I think they are just checking in to see what his situation is like.  They are covering all their bases and not going to be left in the cold if Green doesn't commit.

Hunt. Isaac. There must be some other late targets that could surprise us and someone can enlighten us. For example what about Reschke? He is obviously another committed target who recently surfaced.
