Michigan to Get Back in Contact With Ty Isaac
That is called overanalyzing. Twittering with teens is creepy. Leave it be and cheer for the basketball team.
Life is like Poker, everyone has tells. Working in law enforcement in Chicago for as long as I have, you learn this pretty quick.
like a complete tool in trying to recruit these kids to Michigan.
"The Ruhr will not be subjected to a single bomb. If an enemy bomber reaches the Ruhr, my name is not Hermann Göring: you can call me Urban Meyer!"
Could this be our old friend Chet at work (and by friend I mean creep who thinks he plays a major hand in UM recruiting)? I have to agree that people doing this really is offensive to me.
So is the OL news about a current or potential commit?
Some people need to lay off the twitter recruiting.Stuff like that can scare a kid off and give fan bases a bad name.
"Are you an official here?Because you've officially given me a boner."
So you're telling me that RDT might still be right?
My SEC sources are telling me he is a lock.

He grew some boobs and goes by the name Kate now.
No but really, can someone explain what happened to him?
He just told you.

Kate was the third incarnation. RDT had two accounts and a second user name and used them to praise and upvote himself. He was outed when he tried to respond as RDT when using his other account.

Tradition is something you can't bottle. But it is there to sustain you when you need it most. I've called upon it time and time again.
Job safe? Wondering if he'll be fired, he's made some bone-headed decisions and his team grossly under-performed ths year....
Denard Robinson......They're not going to catch him!
This running back news got me thinking...are any of the running backs we are in on (pretty much Derrick Green) or our outstanding commit that everyone seems to forget about, Deveon Smith, planning on enrolling early?
Ty Isaac was planning on enrolling early. In other news, I haven't had to access that piece of information in a very long time.
Formerly 'mgoblaniel.'
Smith is basically Thomas Rawls, but maybe with a bit more power.
Running backs enrolling early is pretty overrated.
No excuses. Play like a champion.
And what are you basing this on? Just because they have a similar build? Not every 5'11" 225lb running back is Thomas Rawls (who still might be a very good running back for us).
I think Smith is more elusive and has better vision than Rawls. They're not really that similar.
Stop reading tweets. This isn't news, of course he wouldn't say ohio considering he dropped them and still has us as one of his favorites.
You need a vacation or something. You're far too uptight, like all of the damn time. It's a fan board, and fans follow twitter (novel concept). I don't think you'll lose any sleep over what he posted. I generally like your contributions, but you could stand to scale it down a couple notches. How about you take the next few plays off, champ?
Shouldn't you make sure some scarred high school student isn't slowly killing off pieces of your soul?
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
There have been many a post by mods about twitter and not taking everything on it as news. What he posted was not news.
Did i say it meant anything ? Did i start a thread about it ? I just thought it was a nice little tid-bit with him pulling for Michigan...And i don't follow him on twitter, it was mentioned on one of the recruiting websites yesterday...Thanks bro.
This means nothing.
This might be arrogant, and if it is, it is, but we're Michigan
We need elite talent at RB and WR. I will take whoever will come our way. Heck, I would take both Isaac and Green, but I do not think either are likely. We have not landed any elite position players that were not die hard UofM fans growing up. This is still a concern and should be noted if we are going to contend for B1G championships and compete nationally. I want this program to be a national power and do it the right way. We are going to need elite talent to do so. So far, we have not shown the ability to develop position players, although, it has only been two years.
Part of your rant is the last part..."although it has only been 2 years." It's like you talked yourself off the edge and realized you don't become a national power over night. These "elite" players you seek have grown up during the time when Michigan was basically a cellar dweller during RR years...it is going to take some time my friend....
Denard Robinson......They're not going to catch him!
Development has been fine, just don't have the elite athletes there yet. Gallon, Dileo, etc. have come along nicely.
Yeah, by the end of the season it seemed like we'd transplanted Avant's hands on Gallon. He'd have the corner hanging off him, the safety spearing him, and 70% of the time he'd pop up with the ball.
Although I think by the end of the year he was also playing injured. He was real slow to get up a number of times.
With USC's disappointing year plus Kiffin's blatant idiocy (press conference tantrums, under inflated footballs, 1yr Tennesee debacle, etc), the guy is a ticking time bomb. If my child were contemplating his team, I certainly would steer him away. I'm hopeful the Isaacs are doing the same. Complete speculation, I know, but I'll be watching this with keen interest.
Every day, I thank God that I am not a Sparty fan...
FWIW, ESPN has a stub title on their recruiting site saying Wilkins was reconsidering his committment to Auburn after the Chizik firing. Obviously, neither party was the others first choice in the last go around, but maybe we'll re-enter the ring if we really feel like we're struggling to get the right RB.
Don't quote laws to us. We carry swords.

You Twitter stalkers are weird.

If I was Hoke, I would encourage top tier recruits (Green, Treadwell, McQuay, Issaic) to commit during their all star game. This creates tons of program hype and great publicity. You can bet that every well known junior recruit is watching those games.
So I guess what I'm saying is that they're all silent commits. Don't worry.
It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.
Oh come on, we don't need him! Remember, Fred Jackson says Rawls 'runs angry'and is better than Mark Ingram. Our RB situation is A-OK!! Is Vincent Smith returning for his 7th season?
I am sure he will say Deveon has feet of Chris Perry and the running style of A-train

Stop over analyzing what they are doing on Twitter.
