Anybody else feeling a bit nervous about this game? Feels like a trap game kinda thing. Huge emotional hurdle cleared last week getting things right again vs State. Huge test next week at Iowa. Showdown looming in 3 weeks in Columbus. A team we beat 28-0 last year. All kinda adds up to looking past this game. Now I usually dismiss these thoughts with Harbaugh around, he's not the type of coach who would let his team overlook anybody, but these are still young kids who can get caught up in that stuff. I can see this being a 31-20 type game that has us all feeling a little too anxious throughout. Hope I'm wrong, anybody else feeling this at all?

No sir. And I'm not pointing the finger at you specifically, but each week there have been comments on this blog expressing some level of nervousness about our upcoming opponent, and each week, team 137 comes out and takes care of business with relative ease and there has been very little stress or cause for concern. Against Wisconsin, even when it was tied up at 7, I never felt like we could or would lose that game. The defense was stifling and the offense was moving the ball up and down the field throughout, just needed to finish off drives. Same with last week. After their first drive, I chalked it up to them emptying out their playbook and coming out with a certain level of emotion that they seemed more than unlikely to be able to sustain through 4 quarters. The 4th quarter/garbage time scores were a bit frustrating/irritating to watch... Especially with refs staring right at egregious holds and eating flag after flag, but again, I never felt like the outcome was in doubt.

I'm not saying Maryland is incapable of playing well, or that our team will play mistake free... But by the time the clock reads 0:00, I can't see a final score that doesn't result in a Michigan W, likely by 3 scores or more, and that's all that really matters. Just get to The Shoe with a zero in the loss column. Then, THAT game I think it will be fair to have some nerves considering their recent success, the last 10 years in that rivalry, and them getting it @ home. Yet and still, I think we SHOULD win that game. Not saying we will, rivalries are unpredictable, especially when both teams are capable... But I feel as confident as I've felt going into that showdown as I have since 2011.

Not really.  The D got gashed by LJ Scott and is likely seeking to redeem itself.  And BTW, that is really the only way Maryland's offense could hurt us.  So, I think the D bounces back with a strong performance and we win this one easily.  Michigan 40, Maryland 7.

The only game I'm concerned about right now is at OSU.
