No surprise it's a night game.  Really hope we can beat them in their house and give them a lot of years not playing us and unable to get that sour taste out of their mouths after a lot of losses to Michigan.

I have no doubt in my mind we will beat Notre Dame again. However, what about Appalachian State? They upset us a few years back and I don't want a repeat of that incident.

I like to believe that we came out of those first two weeks of 2007 so pissed that we laid waste to what was admittedly a not very good Notre Dame team that year, but it still felt cathartic somehow given how things had gone before that. I would hope that we don't need similar motivation this time around, that's all. As someone said below, Appalachian State is not the pesky FCS team that they once were, so we should be OK.

know if we will get an opportunity to buy tix for the game through the Michigan ticket office?  I can't recall if that was an option in the recent past.

Quite a few people plan on making the trip? I'd like to go to see Notre Dame stadium for the first time, but since this may be the last one for quite some time I can imagine the StubHub prices will be sky high.

I'm annoyed that ND has already announced their start times for all their home games, and we don't have a single start at Michigan set yet. (That's the only reason we know the time of the Michigan game.) I wish Michigan could set more start times earlier than a week or two prior to the game.

I understand that some of the problem is being part of the Big 10 Conference, and the fact that TV Networks want the "best" games later in the day. That only goes so far. Brandon could actually leverage this to make even more money:  set the game times now, and charge TV Networks $500k to change the start time. At the very least, Michigan should be able to schedule Appy State, Miami (NTM) and Utah. And we know the Ohio game is going to be at noon.

Oh well, no use complaining about something you can't fix.

Damn your thread title!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did a quick mental run-through (insert 'must have been quick' barb) of my calendar for tonight to make sure I wouldn't miss the game...

Alas....September.

(I also thought to run to the basement to make sure I wouldn't be spending the evening hauling buckets of slush to the back door due to a malfunctioning sump pump --- should probably do that anyway).
