I hope Jehu keeps it up, but I think we had this hype a couple years back when Devin Gardner had unbelivable stats the last five games of the previous year. However, I do think Jehu will be great with this coaching staff and the QB situation. I think it might be hard for him to have a great statistical year. I just think we will have too many weapons, Butt, Darboh, and hopefully a better running game.

P.S. I love the video with the comparisons.

A Heisman.

Even on a team loaded with NFL talent, Chesson stands out as a playmaker.  The staff went to great effort to put the ball in his hands last year, and that should continue this season.  With more talent, experience, and year 2 under a great coaching staff, Chesson is about to blow up on the national spotlight.

Get used to OKorn-Chesson-Touchdown.

The last non-QB, non-RB to win the Heisman was... Charles Woodson. It's that much of an uphill climb for other positions.

Not fair to some great players.

will be hard for him to take it away from Peppers. coaches went to even greater lengths to get Peppers the ball last year and he arguably did more with his opportunities.

undefeated season, Peppers wins the Heisman after a punt return TD vs OSU. just like 97

I guess it would be Steve Breaston for me. The speed and playmaking ability are very similar. Jehu is bigger and a much better blocker imho.

Amara is no slouch either, he would be the undisputed #1 wr on more than half of the teams in the B1G.

Perry, Ways and Harris are also poised for breakout seasons. We are kinda stacked!

That keeps nagging at me. It shouldn't because I know nothing. But I'd feel better if I knew he was 100% obviously.

Chesson was by far the most pleasant surprise of last season. Going into last year, I was just praying that Darboh would step up. I didn't think Chesson would do more than catch the occasional dink pass for 8 yards. But then he did what he did and wow! Want more of that please.

Best player in college football rarely wins the Heisman.

They should change it to the "Heisman memorial, primarily offensive, statistical juggernaut award for the player fortunate enough to play on a prominant winning team."

Except for Woodson, we could just call it "for offensive players who happened to play in a great system for putting up numbers on a winning team."

Better yet, "The Heisman award for the player most easily pointed out in a lineup by lazy reporters with no time to do actual football research."

Think I need to get a cup of coffee. I'm unusually salty today.

If Chesson gets back to 100% be the start of the season and maintains his speed, he will be a nightmare for secondaries with his combination of size and speed.  The one thing I noticed last year during the first half of the season with Chesson was that everything was a body catch which shrinks his catch radius.   As the season went on he got better with his hands, and hopeful that continues this offseason!
