People can say what they will about the whole "Michigan Man" thing, including fully misunderstanding what it means, but to me it's what Michigan football is all about.  It connects generation to generation, breathes life from one class to the next, and is a culture that will never grow old.  I listen to James Hall and know the idea of being a Michigan Man is a strength to build on, not an ancient relic of some other time.   I'm happy as hell Hoke knows it too.

I think Coach Hanlon mis-spoke when he said that Hoke's dad went to Michigan with him and Bo, and I think he meant to say Miami of Ohio with him and Bo.

I love all the fluff and am starting to become a hoke-a-maniac, but it is all going to come down to W's and L's. Get Mich back to national power=hero, stumble through 3 or 4 mediocre seasons=goat. Let's all hope for the former.
