Michigan Football: 2012 Hype

Submitted by SugarShane on

Hey all.  Made another video this week (yes, I'm very bored without football season around).  I'm done with the avengers videos, as the other trailers didn't really work well with football clips.  Hope you enjoy!

Thanks man. I use iMovie. It's really nice software, and I pick up something new each video I make (this is the 3rd I've made and it took me like 1/5th the time it took me on my first)

That was great. I love that you put Hemingway's speech in there too. My son and I were trying to get closer to the field when I heard Junior start talking. I heard the emotion in his voice and moved to the rail and put my son on my shoulders so he could see. I squeaked a tear out.

Big Play Hemingway put the team on his back do

Maybe you could make a video of all of his ridiculous catches and YAC.
Great work!

I really like this.  I hope your boredom leads to more videos like this.  Also, that audio clip of Junior gets me every stinkin' time...

Maybe one of the best I've ever seen. My only complaint is the last RR appearance near the end (should have been Hoke). Great Work!

I try to keep everything in the video to go along with the speech in the background. Both RR appearances came when Stallone is talking about never blaming someone for not being where you want.

two more radically different sports entities than Muhammad Ali and Michigan football.

Both have exemplified excellence, and for a time, dominance, in their respective sports, but the resemblance ends there. Ali was certainly not the first nor the last cocky athlete, but he took braggadocio and self-celebration to levels unseen in modern sports, and in the process made trash-talking an art form. The fact that during his prime Ali was almost untouchable in the ring allowed him to get away with it.

Not only do Michigan fans quickly react negatively to such stuff when displayed by athletes and fans at our rival institutions, but Brady Hoke himself is almost the opposite mirror image of Ali when it comes to talking; i.e., he keeps his mouth shut, and I'd bet he expects that his players do the same.

Had a good blend of ups and downs and what the Michigan fans expect to go through and what they don't expect to go through. Alot of very highs and very lows the last five or six years nice way to put it all into perspective. GO BLUE
