MICHIGAN Flags
Apologies if this has been dicussed earlier in the year, but when I was a student, whenever Michigan got a TD, a bunch of M kids would run around the stadium with flags spelling out "MICHIGAN," and the guy/girl with the "M" flag would wave it in the end zone a few times.
I attended UTL and didn't see that happen, and haven't noticed it being done on TV either. I attended games under Carr and Rodriguez and remember that tradition staying intact.
Anyone know what happened to that?

As of the Nebraska game, they're still doing this.

I noticed it at the Nebraska game, although I only recall seeing it one time. I can't really remember them doing it during any other game this year, though. Either I'm just too busy celebrating to notice it, or they might not do it every time.

I wonder why they didn't at UTL? Hmm... thanks, though.

As I recall they only do it once per game, right before kickoff.

did anyone notice the uprights were white at the Nebraska game? I go to every game and always remember them as maize.

My pictures from Illinois last year, and UTL this year show white uprights.

...your eyes are a lot off color. They've been white for as long as I can remember....and that's a long time. I know some schools use yellow but not us.

my color deficient eyes have failed me. I bought my observation up to the fans around me and all of them thought they used to be maize too. Maybe I should just focus on the game, lol.
