Michigan fans(and students) disappoint me

As alumni of both schools, I can attest that there's no comparison. Aggie students are so much louder and stay the entire game. Just think how loud The Big House could be...

just an observation but the top half of the student section was sparse. it filled in a bit before half but still sparse. for the students that made it bravo and a tip of the cap. for those that didn't what gives?

They were packed in for the first 20 or 25 rows, across several sections. There were some empty seats though, you are correct.

we tend to pack it in the lower sections. Few people sit in their correct seats. Mine were actually 10 rows higher than where I sat during the game. I had approximately 3 inches where I was standing in the stadium and was turned sideways for the entire game. Since few students actually sit in their correct seat, you would be a moron to not move down closer to the field.

No boos except for the end of the half. Few left until late in the 4th. Crowd was good today, as it has been all season

People were booing the kickers or maybe Rich Rod for trying to kick a field goal.

I heard boo's after the field goal attempt and at the half. That was pretty much the extent of it.

Everyone booed at the end of the 2nd qtr because it seemed RR was satisfied with being down 24-0 going into the half.
Only other thing I heard was a loud bronx cheer during the extra point attempts.
BTW, props to the crowd for Ezeh's introduction, he got one of the louder ovations.

You heard wrong. You need better sources.

thanks for the pic jhackney, otherwise I feel looking at this thread was a huge waste of time

There were boos in the first half when we attempted a field goal. Everyone in the stadium knew it would be missed. That is the only time during normal gameplay that anyone had a huge boo. I did boo Bucky when he was doing all his pushups after a score, however.

Most of the boos I heard today were from the guy behind me who I eventually berated and shushed. Let me clue guys like him in on this one thing; I understand that you're mad about the defense, and that our "professional athletes" don't win every game, (They're professional because they get paid with a scholarship, which makes a blown coverage or a dropped ball absolutely unacceptable and worthy of the filthiest shreiks imaginable from the stands...) but I can promise you that from section 9, Greg Robinson cannot hear you call him a "fucking idiot", and/or "retard", and I submit, nor would he care. No matter how loud, or how often. Now I don't mind yelling, and I can certainly handle the occaisional F-bomb, but you're not going to act like that kind of an animal behind me for 3 hours straight. And don't give me that, "what, I can't express my opinion???" crap. Expressing your opinion to me and those in earshot does nothing, and certainly doesn't necessitate a string of obscenities as long as my arm. I was particularly embarassed for the quiet, extremely polite and well-mannered WI fans in front of me, including 2 kids of the approximate age of 6 or 7 years old who had to listen to that. I mean, I'm pretty excited to take my son to see the big house in a few years when he's big enough, but I'm not excited about spending the whole ride home explaining to him what a "cocksucker" is, and why the man behind us wants members of the coaching staff to throw themselves into traffic.

which is the only way many alums can even watch the screen when we are on D

I was there too and you are dead wrong. Anyone that booed around me in the student section was either A. booing some of the decisions to punt on fourth down or not calling a time out at the end of the first half.
way to throw out blanket statements.

The booing was the last two plays before the end of the half. I was there and there was not any other booing at any time.
