Michigan fans attending Camp Randall Classic

Submitted by CalJr3000 on
Hi everybody, I'm not here looking to buy/sell tickets for the Michigan-Wisconsin outdoor game in February, but to find out where good pockets of UM fans will be sitting so I can determine the best section in which to buy tickets. I'm generally looking along either sideline as I believe I've heard the rink will be between both 17 yard lines and between the hash marks. But as I think most people would prefer, I'm hoping to sit in a group of Michigan fans, not amidst a bunch of Wisconsin students. So out of curiosity, for those planning to go to the game that have or are buying tickets, where are you sitting? Thanks to everybody that responds for your help.

Yes, reaching people one at a time (and in this case ONLY Brian), surely the most efficient way to do anything! Seriously, though, I hadn't seen anything about where groups of UM fans might be sitting and I thought this was the quickest way to get a survey of that because I feel like I need to order tickets shortly. I've seen a good selection on StubHub, among other places, and I didn't want to chance sitting in a sea of Wisconsin fans if I could help it, so I appreciate all informational replies. Here's hoping I see a large number of the MGoFaithful there!

I think my tickets will end up being in Section Z3 (endzone corner). I'm heading up there with my girlfriend and we're staying in Milwaukee with a friend of hers who happens to be a Wisconsin grad.

Thanks, I did look into those sections since they're generally much more affordable, but there's still a good number of sideline seats available that at times are even relatively affordable. I'll probably be doing the same thing, staying in Milwaukee before/after as it's a reasonable place to drive to/from Michigan for a game in Madison.

I'll be there. Can't wait for this event because I unfortunately missed the cold war game at MSU. After watching the World Juniors, Stepan scares the shit out of me. We better watch out for him.

I was 15 at the time, but I remember that game vividly, including how COLD it was! We never should've lost that game, I think MSU tied it up in the last minute. Now with the Outdoor Game at Camp Randall, and Cold War II in the Big House this Fall, I can say I've attended all of Michigan's outdoor games. I'll have to get back to everyone on the location of my tickets; asking the person who ordered them right now. I am so ready for this!
