With Michigan's fan day slated for the 22nd, what were your past experiences? What is the coolest gear to get signed (footballs, jersey's, helmets)?
landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.
We should be getting excited about this first.
is pictures of the players that you print off personally, if not that I used to grab a media guide and try to get that signed...now that they don't have that, I would suggest TheWolverine.com's football preview issue. If taking young kids though, be prepared to wait a long time in line if you want to get the QBs and Rich's autograph. With little kids, I would recommend going to the special teams and Offensive line and getting those autographs, little ones don't care who signs their stuff, just that someone does.
I saw someone carry in a fathead once which was pretty cool. Anything that you will be able to keep for years to come is a good idea. Even saw someone bring a toy chest once.
Screw the rivals preview mag
Back in 2008, me and a friend took our beer pong table and got that signed.
because they will smear. Grab a blue jersey / grey sharpie or a white jersey / blue sharpie. Wear the jersey so you don't have to carry anything and then frame it when you get home.
Last time I went, I got punter Don Bracken to sign a picture ripped from the previous year's yearbook. Guess that just shows how long since I last went (but I'm going this year, kids in tow)
What time do you think I need to get to the gate for the QB line? It has been a few years since I have gone and I forget how early people get there.
In the past I got the posters they handed out signed, and they still look nice. I would recommend taking a mailing tube to keep the poster in to prevent it from smearing. I am not sure if they still give out posters though.
The QB's line will probably be the biggest followed by RR. Gates open at 11am ET but signatures are from 1-3 pm. That leaves two hours of checking out the renovations or getting in line. Locations of individual players will be announced at a later date, so plan accordingly. If I'm lucky I will get my Michigan football signed by Tate, Shoelace, & RR that I got from mden.
I plan on getting some art signed
Im just wondering what to expect. How early should i get there to get a good spot in the qbs line. Will i be getting a few autographs or will i be able to fill up my football?
Any help is appreciated thanks!
