Michigan Extends Its Super Bowl MVP Lead
With Tom Brady's MVP tonight, Michigan players have now won FIVE Super Bowl MVP awards - four by Brady and one by Desmond Howard. No other school even has four.
Ohio State has one. MSU has none. The Big Ten school with the second-most MVPs? Give up? It's Purdue.
Here's the complete list:

I'd narrow it down to between 4-8 MVPs just to be sure.

Don't worry as Tom will increase that lead next year!

There might be one or two more on the way!
All of Alabama's came in the first three games.

This was the best yet. Brady's OL was a sieve for long stretches. NE had no ground game. The receivers struggled to get separation and dropped several balls (though they did make one incredible catch, granted). And still, he could not be denied.

if Pats dont get the comeback Julio may have got the MVP -- that was one of thea best catches i've ever seen. Edelman's was nice but a lot of luck. I don't think theres more than 5 WR in history physically capable of making Julio's catch -- and it would be 4-4 Bama / Michigan.

The next one will be the first one. And he will do it as a wide receiver.
I can guarantee, it won't be Tate Martell.

Oh, you mean starting. As a quarterback. Never mind.
(For those who weren't around in the eighties, Tupa was Ohio State's punter and second- or third-string quarterback behind Mike Tomczak and Jim Karsatos. In 1987, he started at quarterback and played well enough to be drafted in the third round by Phoenix. He wasn't terribly successful and spent most of his career bouncing around the league as a punter, which he did for the Tampa Bay team that beat the Raiders in Super Bowl 37.)
