Michigan Embarrassing Ticket Giveaway

Submitted by 814 East U on

This HAS to be rock bottom...at least I hope. Received this picture from a relative who is a student.

Sorry to all those MGoUsers who claimed 100% fake...because I just picked up 2 100% real tickets to Minny.

More proof...

I am not sure if you can post it directly from the phone - did it come with a link or something which denotes origin? We could try to find it for you if you can provide the reference.

Otherwise, you could perhaps e-mail to yourself, upload it to a photo sharing site and share it by placing the HTML code they provide in  post (while in plain text mode) and then resizing it appropriately. Let me know if you need assistance.

No, no, no. You see, Dave Brandon is acknowledging the team's current failure. Sprite is scientifically documented to be one of the world's best hangover cures (link provided below). He understands that our fandom is now driving us to drink to an astonishing degree and is kindly acknowledging our need to recuperate while simultaneously selling tickets so as to not break the 100k streak.

Right? RIGHT?!?

That's unreal. The problems with this football program are rooted firmly in our AD's office. We saw this summer that some regents are getting sick of him. It's time for those guys to make a move and pressure Schlissel to dump DB's ass.

At least of couple of posts appear to support your OP.  Is this limited to students, and available at only at university-owned stores?  Only Dave Brandon could make a ticket giveaway to students appear crass, what with the strings attached (i.e., you have to purchase Coke products).  Maybe we should be thankful that the promotions were not at Domino's...?

So you can effectively get 2 tickets to the Minnesota game (and two Coke products) for like $3? Sounds like something that would happen at Purdue. They must really be struggling to fill that section above the student section

Two free tickets for purchasing coke products. I can't believe this is real. C'mon man what pisses me off is the fact that Michigan charges outragous prices and when they start doing bad they start giving them away. That is bullshit. The fans who paid full price for tixs are getting screwed. Make the tickets a more reasonable price and stop screwing the consumer.
